The DUST Story | DUST Discograpy | |||||||||||||||
DUST hailed from New York, forming in 1970. They secured a deal with Kama Sutra Records, releasing their debut album 'Dust' in 1971. Dust were heavy, some say heavier than Black Sabbath. Why they didn't make it big is a mystery to many people. The songs were well crafted and the musicianship of Kenny Aaronson alone should have been enough. Dust recorded a second album in 1972 'Hard Attack' featuring the classics 'Walk In The Soft Rain' and 'Suicide'. Unfortunately the album did not sell particularly well and Dust remained relatively unkown. Before the band split they apparently recorded tracks for a possible third album which has remained unreleased to this day. German label Repertoire released both of the bands albums on CD in 1989.
