Training Program

Our professional trainings are dedicated to teachers, students or those wishing learning angklung music. These trainings are designed and combined with innovative teaching and training method, to give the most benefits to students.

Training can be delivered in various programs. Programs has good flexiblity since they can be arranged even altered to match student's need, then in some cases student does not require to take training from certain level.

Programs shall be delivered in form of theory including its implementation on class practices, student's assignment, evaluations, discussions, and performances.

Training Subject

Some of training subjects are described as follows:

Introduction
Student will learn information on angklung as instrument such as form of angklung, playing techniques, tuning and maintenance.
 
Class Practice in Angklung
Team of players/students will learn to play songs with the instrument. There are several types of class practices for angklung team based on types and difficulties of songs, song's interpretation, playing techniques, arrangement etc.
 
Coaching Technique
This subject is necessary for conductor and angklung trainer. Guidances will be given from simple aspect like how to point notes in a song to how to prepare a team into performance.
 
Angklung Arrangement
Not every songs directly adaptable for this instrument. Many times, they require new arrangement before can be played with an angklung team. This subject study some aspects on how to make arrangement for angklung instrument.
 
Planning a Training Session
The purpose of this subject is to make training for angklung team more efficient and more effective. Team of students or trainer will study objectives of training, affecting factors, setting up schedule, etc.
 
Team Evaluation
After several training or even performances it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the team. This subject will guide trainer and student; evaluation criteria, tools, and other related aspect.
