SOLAR WIND joins two outstanding musicians (Peter Lathrop and Mike Mills) from diverse backgrounds, resulting in
an astounding excellence in musical ability and experience, spanning the roots of R&B to current Pop, Rock, Jazz and HipHop.

The band has produced three albums of their own music and several albums of rhythm and instrumental loops for musicians.

Their music is as driven by quality as it is by diversity. Using state of the art digital recording techniques from their own
studio, SOLAR WIND is able to translate their skillful musicianship into unusual and varied musical pieces. They write,
record, edit and produce all of their own work.

Peter Lathrop is a classically trained pianist who began his career as lead guitar- ist in a San Francisco rock band called
"The Cheaters". He went solo from there playing acoustic 6 and 12 string guitar and banjo in nightclubs in the United States
and Europe. After deciding to return to his piano roots, he switched to acoustic piano and later electric keyboards. In addition
to playing in nightclubs in California, Peter has done studio recording of his own music as well as backup for other bands.
He is a prolific songwriter with the ability to play in many genres.

Mike Mills began as a drummer in his first band, "Black Beatles". Between stints as lead vocalist with "Upward People"
and various gospel music choirs, he played bass in "Atlanta Knights", an Atlanta based band. After moving to San Diego,
Mike became involved in digital music while obtaining an advanced degree in computer science. From there he played
keyboards, became a rhythm specialist, using synthesizers, keyboards and computer generated orchestration. His music
has been on the Internet for several years.
