Hello
everyone,
This is to inform those of you who
do not already know that the
trilogy of movies based on the Lord of the Rings is currently
being filmed
in New Zealand, and the first movie, the Fellowship of the Ring,
is
scheduled to be released in the summer of 2001. There is
one problem,
however. All of you who have read the trilogy no doubt
remember Tom
Bombadil, the queer being encountered by Frodo and his party in
the Old
Forest. Well, it appears that the director of the films
wants to cut Tom
from the movies completely. I think that he is an important
part of the
story, and of Middle Earth in general, and should be included.
The Tolkein
site www.ringbearer.org is running a petition to
encourage the film's
director to include this character. If you like, please
visit this site and
let them know that you want Tom in there. Even if you don't,
it's a cool
site, anyway. Talk to you all later.
Tom

...Also we are on the look out for Type O Negative. It was about last year at this time that they had a concert in NYC and on top of that they came out with a new album which gives them a better reason to tour.
If you know where they are playing, let us know.
