The Fender Jazzbass remains as the best bass of the world since decades, like the Fender Stratocaster eletric guitar. It's the bass that I use in almost all music of my CDs...

"True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont" has 2 wonderful sounds sounding at the same time.
(Both metalic and very deep bass).  
As bonus, the True Fender Jazzbass soundfont has also non-Jazzbass sounds included, (synth bass, slap bass, sustained bass, etc)  being "True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont" really a complete collection of basses for every type of music ! (16 basses at all) (Dificultly you'll need a bass beyond the "True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont" basses...) (I never need a bass beyond the "True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont" basses, and I work in my studio with several genres of music, and I'm very diligent. I satisfy not myself with any instrument).      : )

16 mixed to bend (Sample mixed layer (not realtime layer) for cases you play bass using a lot of bender, that causes voices out. In this case there's not 2 samples playing in realtime, but only one. So there's no voices out in the running sequence).                                                                                                                                          
From 1 to 6 presets, the Jazzbass metalic sound go increasing more and more, begining on a low metalic bass till a pure metalic, matching every type of music which Jazzbass is used ! c)(except some rare song we use ). 
Running your sequence, you go changing these presets till reach the metalic level needed.

"True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont" creation was a alchemist secret of mine, but now I share it with you, who have posted good soundfonts for free on Internet.  

TECHNICAL DETAILS= You can't simulate this 2 sounds in Sound Forge (or other sound editor) equalizing only one sample. (If you mix 2 bass samples manually in Forge, they sound bad). If you simply apply a very low frequency (maybe 80 hz) and a middle frequency (maybe 2kz) on a Jazzbass sample, you'll get not the True Fender Jazzbass. You can get the True Fender Jazzbass only through 2 ways: Or you buy a real Fender Jazzbass and use 2 cables, or you layer the 2 sounds in Vienna. Doing it with a real Fender Jazzbass, 1 cable goes to the IN of a amp adjusted to a deep bass sound. The other cable goes to other amp IN adjusted to a metalic sound. According to each type of music, you adjust the balance between the 2 amps.       The second way, much cheaper and MIDI powerful, is to create a "True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont": As you can check in my "True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont", is made a LAYER of a deep Jazzbass sample and a metalic Jazzbass sample.

For cases we play bass using a lot of bender, that causes voices out, there's the "16 mixed to bend" preset, in the "True Fender Jazzbass Soundfont". It's not 2 samples playing in realtime, but only one. (So there's no voices out in a sequence running, it doesn't matter if we have 50 voices of polyphony).

I deal with basses for many years. I only discovered this great secret some days ago.   Frequently musicians take not out the maximum from their instruments and Jazzbass is a example. (Hammond organ without Leslie is other).

In "Magic Strings Collection Soundfont" there's strings for every type of music. I use it daily in my studio, to record professional CDs.
I have also professional drum kits that contains for example a Superb Yamaha TwinHead Tontons. Don't confuse my TwinHead to Internet TwinHead. That on Internet have velocity problems, only a choke (soft) sound, wastes space with excessively long samples. The mine has 3 power levels (strong, normal and soft), without HD and RAM waste.  A sample too long sounds bad, beyond of.HD and RAM waste.  Some people claims "natural decaying samples" as the "America discovery", but it's not as it seems...We need neither too short samples, nor too long. We need only the maximum USEFUL lenght... .
