The Templar of Midwinter Twilight

Verse:1

I rise to behold the snow in the midwinters twilight

Thy onslaught doth torment my weakened soul

Bright blood doth flow from my crimson veins

Thou hast embraced me with black, cursed love

Now I crawl on the shores of midwinters twilight

Is this the damned realm thou didst speak of?

Is this the damned realm thou didst speak of?

I have looked in thy mirror of immortal love

Thou hast tempted me twice with powers of darkness

But I have a pledge to fulfil in thy realm

My compassion for mortals is greater than thine

Thou canst not unchain thy pagans to gain strength

I am a noble templar seized in a realm of black love

Dark Mistresses ye have sent to me in midwinters snow

Are they semblances of thy black love and beauty?

They are my foes but they have tempted me

Thy Mistress of lust have tempted me

I hear the whispering of voices within my mind

I came here to ravage thy arid fields

But thy pagan mistress stopped me

Verse: 2 Across the arid shores

I am entombed in the snow and do behold thy castle

My blade doth protect me from the ire of thy pagan hordes

Encircled by corpses and crimson blood

I can not see thy lips but I feel them against mine

I am the Templar of midwinter twilight

Thou dost desire my love and I feel thy power

I have faced the wrath of the four winds to face thee

Oh my Queen, I am seduce by thy power

Is my quest thus condemned to failure?

Thou hast defiled my soul with twisted desires

The silent winds of thy realm call forth a storm in my heart

My Oath is sacred no longer for my soul is in thy hand:

Oath violated, faith betrayed, to heresy am I turned

I rise from the arid shores and enter thy castle

The prize of Thy temptation

Verse: III

Oh, my mistress, willingly shall I come to thee

Thought the prize of temptation be damnation

Temptation. damnation?

Let the past be forgotten, my mind born anew

My desires disgrace my once solemn quest

Thou hast tainted my destiny with thy temptation

Cruelties thou hast committed repel me no longer

Flesh and soul am I drawn to thy castle

Let the past be forgotten, my mind born anew

Honour and faith forgotten, faith abandoned, I stand ready

Embrace me with thy dark power, I feel no more pain

In thy castle, the Enigma

All that which I was and honoured have I betrayed

The prize of Flesh

I am free here with thee and my ideals are gone

Oh Eleanor, my dark Mistress, give me immortality

I need thy profound black love to rise again

Thy desires are my command, I do as thou wish

His skin became pale as the snow on the ground

"My Templar, my love. No disease may henceforth harm thee.

Now only blades can make thee leave my realm.

Thou hast now the gift of gifts,

But thou hast a task also: Protect my body from pagans save me from the

light. I shall reward thee,

Templar, with the prize of desires."

The templar had now fallen into the grip of Eleanor

Within his body a pagan soul abode

He had won the prize of flesh but lost that of soul

This realm had been his entrance to immortality

The Church could now behold another failure

Eleanor, the Mistress of Lust, had prevailed again

The End
