Sound Quality
- 256 fully editable General Midi voices created using Multi-Synthesis algorithm and PCM
sampling technology. 12 drum sets including a user assignable drum set.
Multiple Audio
Outputs - Four separate outputs which can be assigned to any section of the
instrument (Solo, Bass, Rhythm, etc.) or even a single percussion section (Bass Drum,
Snare Drum, etc.). This feature is invaluable for live performances and studio recording,
as it enables the equalization, effects patching and separate amplification of single
sections of the instrument - dramatically enhancing the dimensionality and realism of the
performance.
DSP Effects
Processor - Onboard digital effects include Reverb, Chorus, Rotor, Delay and
Echo Repeat. Effects are separately controllable in all sections of the instrument.
Arranger - 99 styles are onboard, covering the
widest range of contemporary to traditional rhythms. Each style is professionally
orchestrated, each with 4 Arrangements, 2 Intros (simple and elaborate), 2 Endings and 3
Fill-Ins. In addition, the internal memory contains 24 locations into which new styles and
patterns can be programmed.
Real
Time Recorder - The Song Recording function makes it possible to play any song
on the SOLTON and record it directly onto a disk. In this way, a complete
repertoire can be recorded including 9 midi parts along with all Control Panel changes to
Volume, Tempo, Style, Voices, etc. as they were made during the recorded performance. Upon
playback it is possible to play along with the recorded sequence (or any GM format
midifile song) using any of the 256 available voices.
Registrations -
64 different combinations of Control Panel settings can be memorized and instantly
recalled. A complete repertoire’s settings can be stored.
LCD
Display - SOLTON’s large, easy to read 2 line, 80 character display
is backlit for easy viewing in all lighting conditions. The multifunctional display
provides information on all system settings.
3 �" Disk Drive - Stores recorded songs and user voices
while allowing for the loading of additional new PCM voices, styles and midi songs (words
and music) from the ever expanding SOLTON Disk Library.
VI 1 Video Interface - Enables the display of song title, highlighted words, and chord name on a
conventional television monitor while allowing transposition of the song only or both song
and keyboard. The lead line (melody) can be turned off so as to provide a perfect backing
for either a vocal or lead instrument. Perfect for karaoke applications. (optional)
FS6 / FS13 Footswitch
- This accessory allows for the fastest "real time" operation of SOLTON products
without the need for frequently having to remove your hands from the keyboard or musical
instrument. Footswitches with either 6 or a remarkable 13 fully assignable switches let
the performer control everything from voicing and registration changes to tempo and
volume. When using the Arranger, the footswitch can also control Intros, Endings, Fill-Ins
and Arrangement selection. (optional)
MIDI
Pedalboard - Enables control of Arranger chord changes via foot control,
allowing for the use of SOLTON products as fully orchestrated accompaniment for any
conventional non-midi musical instrument or as a back-up for vocalists. |
