A little while back, I borrowed the Pocket Monsters
Sound Anime Collection (that is the collection of BGM from the anime) from
a friend of mine, and I liked the music so much (and the CD itself so little
>_<) that I made mp3's out of them all. I only uploaded a few of them
though, since it is illegal and all... (But I severely dislike the
CD itself, and a friend of mine bought it and thus isn't likely to download
mp3's of it, so I'm figuring it evens out.) Ah, hell, whatever. Since other
songs, like Mezase Pokémon Master especially, are incredibly
common on the 'Net, I'm posting only rare PM songs that I've never
once seen or even mentioned online. Go knock yourselves out, and remember
to delete 'em all after 24 hours or buy the CD ^_^
Oh yeah oh yeah, and to avoid getting this site deleted,
only one mp3 at a time. And since FortuneCity technically frowns down at
hosting mp3's, the extensions say .zip, so when you save it, just save
it as an mp3. ^_^
POKéMON SINGLE COLLECTION
Track 07: Suteki na Collection [Wonderful
Collection]
A sort of Indian-sounding
tune at first, it took some
getting used to before
I started to like it. However,
of the 3 new tracks on
this CD, Suteki na Collection
would have to be my favorite
^_^
POKéMON SOUND
ANIME COLLECTION
(full track listing)
Track 08: Pokémon! GETTO daze!
[I Got a Pokémon!]
This played when Satoshi
caught his first Pokémon,
a Caterpy, and also when
Pikachu defeated Raichu.
Track 12: Masaki no Toudai [Masaki's
Lighthouse]
This played in the episode
"Masaki's Lighthouse" (Lighthouse on the Hill),
wherein Masaki and Satoshi-tachi
were waiting for Kairyuu to appear.
It also played when Natsume's
doll appeared before Satoshi-tachi, and
personally, I always
associate this with her rather than with Masaki.
Track 16: Rocket-dan Shichi Henge [Rocket
Gang Seventh Change]
Ooooohhhohohohohoho...
ho.... ho.......
This is that peppy, cute
theme that plays when something
weird happens. One of
my favorite pieces.
Track 17: Nandakanda to Kikaretara...
[Whatever It Is You Want to Tell Us...]
The Rocket Gang speech
theme. Love this one.
Track 26: Inori [Prayer]
A melancholy, wistful
tune played when Hitokage was holding onto
life at the Pokémon
Center, in the episode of its first appearance.
Track 28: O-den [Hodgepodge]
A once-only track ^_^;;
This played with Pikachuu-tachi were stranded
at Pokémon Land
and were talking at the ramen shack (also called O-den)
run by a Yadoran. Actually,
this probably played someplace else, I just
haven't heard it.
Track 29: Charinko Bousouzoku [Charinko
Delinquents Club]
Actually, the FULL translation
of this track is Charinko
Club of Rabble-Rousing
Reckless-Driving Delinquents ^_^;;;;;;;
but I decided that was
a little too long. It's rather obvious where
this one shows up.
Track 36: Fukutsu no Pokémon
[Persistant Pokémon]
This battle theme is
the anime version of you vs. gym leader. One of
my favorite tunes; this
played when Hitokage battle Okorizaru, when
Pikachu battled Yunghelar
the second time around, and when Satoshi
battled Erika.
Track 38: Namida, Nochi Hare [Tears,
After the Clear Weather]
One of my personal favorites
;_; This is the unforgettable track
in the first episode
when Satoshi protected Pikachu from the
flock of Onisuzume.
Track 39: Deai to Wakare to [A Meeting
and a Parting]
First of the three ending
BGM's. A very pretty piano and violin
piece--I'd like to hear
Haruka-san and Michiru-san play this one ^_^
This one played at the
end of the first episode.
Track 40: Shouri no Badge, GETTO da ze!
[I Got a Victory Badge!]
Second of the three ending
BGM's. This entails that a great deed,
i.e. attaining a gym
badge or getting Paras to evolve into Parasect,
has been successfully
completed.
