Complete script of the dutch ALW stage production
After the dutch ALW production had ended I got this book  from someone I got to know. This book was also found in the garbage  but for me is a treasure. It contains complete musicscores, text and some stagedirections. Years ago I already typed out the complete lyrics and put them on my site (go to the main page of the archives and then click on complete dutch lyrics)

Specialy created paperweight to commemerate last show in the netherlands
They humorously adapted a ticket (like those who were sold) with special text and incase it in transparent hard platic. It is probably meant to be used as a paperweight.

Lets just look at the text. The date on the ticket is that of the last show, Sunday august 4 1996 at 17.00 hours. The ticket is on the name of: Erik Gaston Leroux. Adres: Cathacomben VSB circus theater (cathacombs of the theater were the show ran). The seat? Loge 5 (or yes you guessed it right..box number 5)

On the back it states (the translation is not litteral but the text of the musical in english):

Denk aan mij, blijf aan me denken. Ook naar ons vaarwel (Think of me, think of me fondly. When we've said goodbye)
Herinner mij, blijf mij herinn'ren. Een mens vergeet zo snel.(Remenber me once in a while. Please promise me you'l try)
Denk aan mij, blijf aan me denken als je vroeg ontwaakt (Think of me, think of mewaiking, silent and resigned)
Bedenk dan ook, dat ik in dromen je nooit ben kwijt geraakt (Imagine me trying too hard to put you from my mind)

Then a picture of a rose and the following text:

Jij, die mijn muziek tot schoonheid bracht.(you alone can make my song take flight)
Voorbij de melodieen van de nacht. (its over now the music of the night)

Phantom of the Opera ball masque fan
Several days ago (about end january 2005) I got a envelope from Amerika that was  from Warner Bros (the movie company). It was adressed to Phantom Winner..and then my adress. On the envelope it said it contained a plush toy. I must honestly admit dat I do not know which contest I entered I have won, but who cares.  Can you imagine my surprise that when I opened the envelope instead of a plush toy I found a Phantom of the Opera movie fan. I am very great full I have received this item but did not realise its rarenes. I just thought they were giving them away by the thousands. Since I wanted to know how much of them were around I took a look at ebay. For example:  you get snowballed with movie posters there. I found only one fan. It was not in mint condition and was offered with a postcard. The seller wrote that the fan  is ( I quote) "a promo item issued in advance of the movie's release"
Auction ended with someone bidding  31 dollar (around 25 euro) Nice to hear...not because I am selling it but because it means its a rare item, a collectors dream.

The first photo is from the front and the other side of the fan (see other picture) is a scene of ball masque.

Commemerative Dutch Phantom of the Opera cd in frame to celebrate 100.000 cds sold
This one was probably thrown away because of the crack in the glass 9see underleft side). I really dont mind. Its a very heavy quality frame. WIth the cd and a metal commemerative plaque stating : Aangeboden ter gelegenheid van de verkoop van 100.000 exemplaren van de Nederlandse versie van de cd "Hoogtepunten  uit de Phantom of the Opera" april 1995. Litterally translated: Offert on the ocasion of the sell of 100.000 copies of the dutch version of the cd "Highlights from the Phantom of the Opera"

Phantom of the opera tote bag / shopping bag
I have this one for years and I think I bought it by mail with the Phantom of the Opera shop who then resided in Canada. As you can see its a sturdy shoppen filled with lots of little masks. In the under right part you can find The Phantom of the Opera in cracked glass letters. The back of the bag is exactly the same. I do not use it very often because its a real fashion statement one it making with a bag like this. It measures 50 x 30 cm.

Phantom of the opera pop up book
This one was a gift from my friend Carrie Hernandez. I read that its a highly collectible pop-up book  My copy is 22 x 30 cm (12" x 9"?)  is in good condition. All the pop-ups are intact but the musical and light microchip are not working anymore. It consists of four wonderful double-page scenes (each with an intricate pop-up with pull-tabs) portraying the scenes from the musical. First one is Hannibal were you move the ballet with the pull tab. Second one is the dressingroom and ballet in background there you can make the Phantom appear in the mirror with the pull tab. Third is the Ball Masqe secene where you can make the phantom dressed as red death apprear from behind to guests. Third is the lair with Christine and Roul rowing away and the Phantom on his throne. You can make him dissapear with a pull tab..
