MMMiracles Do Come True
It was just like any other day except HANSON, my favorite band was
doing an interview on MTV. And of course, I was watching. During the
interview Carson Daley started talking about HANSON's biggest concert
in history, that was coming up very soon. "So guys, where is the
concert going to be held at?" Carson asked. "It's going to be held in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma," Taylor replied. "Why Oklahoma City?" Why not
Tulsa?" asked Carson. "Well, we have kinda already had to many
there....we just wanted to do something diffrent." said Isaac. "And
besides, that's where it was schedu;ed," Zac replied laughing. " Okay
audience,",Carson began, "We are giving away three tickets, to three
lucky HANSON fans, for HANSON's biggest concert in history! All you
have to do is call the number at the bottom of the screen.....the
first three callers win!" I rushed as quickley as I could and dialed
the number. As soon as I pressed the last digit, it began rining.
"Hello, this is Carson Daley, congradulations you are the second
caller! You have won a round trip airplane ticket to Oklahoma City,
and of course the concert ticket for HANSON's biggest concert in
history!" You could imagine my excitement! I just wondered who the two
other callers were, because i'd be spending the days in Oklahoma with
them. But who cares? I just won my dream! Finally the day is here! the
day I go to the airport! I can't wait! Just think this time I'll be
right up front watching the greatest band on earth perform! I know I
won't be able to get any sleep tonight! About an hour and a half later
the airplane landed. As soon as I got off I saw a guy holding up a
sign that said "TICKET WINNERS" so I figured, this must be who I go
to. So I went up to the guy and said....."Are you the one I'm supposed
to come to? I won a ticket to the HANSON concert." And the guy just
smiled and replied, "Yep, you've come to the right place......Hi my
name is Nick." "Nice to meet you." I replied. "Are you Zoe, Lucy, or
Madeline?" Nick asked. "I'm Madeline," I said. Okay, so that means
Lucy and Zoe are the girls from Florida." Said Nick. Right then it hit
me...what if it's them? No, I thought, it's just one of those weird
coincedenes." So we walked down the hall of the crowed airport to gate
C4. It was the one that the people from Tampa were getting off. Two
girls came walking toward us, as they came closer I thought I
reconized one of them, wait, I do! It's my pen pal Lucy and her best
friend Zoe!!! "Oh my gosh! It's you guys? You were the other winners
to this contest!?!?!?" I screamed. "Madeline? You won this contest
too? This is cool!I can't belive all three of us won!" exclamied Lucy.
"I can't belive we finally get to meet and this is how we get to do
it! I can't belive this is happening, it's awesome!" I annouced. "I
could barely belive Lucy when she told me she had won too! Well, I
know for sure we aren't going to get any sleep tonight!" Zoe said
laughing. "Well girls, we better move it if we want to get to the
hotel and get ready," he said. "Huh? Ready for what? The concert isn't
untill tomorrow." Lucy wondered. "Didn't they tell you girls that you
are eating dinner with HANSON tonight?" Nick asked. All three of us
were speechless, well for a while anyway. "You mean w..w..w..we get
t..t..t..to eat dinner w..w..with them?" I managed to stutter, it was
the only thing I could do." "Yeha, I thought they told you that? Oh
well, you know now!" replied Nick. At the hotel......"What time are we
leaving?" Lucy asked, while getting ready. "Who's coming to get us?" I
wondered. We were all in a mad rush. Trying to decide what to wear,
what to say, and what to do, it was pitiful. "Okay, I'm ready, do I
look ok?" Zoe asked. "Yeah, you look fine, how about me?" I wondered.
"Yeah, you look fine too." she was disracted so i don't even think she
looked, but that's okay, because I didn't either! Lucy came out of the
bathroom and said, "Oh, I'm nervous!"...."I am too!" I replied. "Me
three!" said Zoe. That's when we heard a knock at the door. "I'll get
it!" I accidently yelled because it scared me. So I went to the door
and opened it up. The person standing there almost made me
faint...........It was him! It was Taylor Hanson!! "Hi!" I said...'Did
I actually get a word out without stuttering?How did I do that?' I
thought. "Hi." he said back, he actually sounded a little shy. At that
exact moment Lucy and Zoe walked up to the door too. "It's you!" Lucy
exclaimed. "Hi.", "Hi." he replied. "Hi." said Zoe, finally finding
her voice. When I opened the door I had noticed that Taylor had his
hands behind his back,so I got up enough courage and asked, "What do
you have behind your back?" "Oh," he quickly remembered, "These are
for you." he handed each of us a long-stemmed red rose. "My favirote
color." he said smiling, "Well I guess we should go now." As we were
walking down the hall to the elevators Zoe stopped and said "Wait,
where's Isaac and Zac? Didn't they come with you?" "No,they are gonna
meet us at the restuarant." Tay said. "Oh." Zoe replied. Of course we
wondered, but we never asked. When we arrived at the restuarant Isaac
and Zac were'nt there yet. So we sat down and waited. While we waited,
we talked to Tay. It became really easy to talk to him. He told us
about everything, we did the same. "Hey, I just thought of something,
the concert isn't until 6:00 tommorrow night. So would you guys like
to come with me and Isaac and Zac to Laser Quest tommorrow?"Taylor
asked us. "Yes!!" all three of us said at once. "Great!"he said. Isaac
and Zac finally came about 30 minutes later. "What took you guys so
long?" Tay wondered. "Mom kinda...held us overtime." Isaac told Tay.
We introduced ourselves, then Zac said "Ok let's order!! I'm
starved!!" It was the best meal of my life, but that was probably
because I was sharing it with my favirote band. After we got back to
tthe hotel room we tried to go to sleep because we had such a big day
ahead of us...but we knew that wasn't gonna happen! "I can't believe
he invited us to go to Laser Quest with him and his brothers!!" Lucy
exclaimed. "I know! He must actually like us!" I said. "Yeah, he must
because this isn't part of the contest at all!" she replied. Zoe
hadn't said anything for awhile.. "Zoe..you still alive?" I asked.
"Huh? Oh yeah.." she said ( I could tell she was distracted) "I was
just thinking about how great tommorrow is gonna be!" she answered.
Hey, you know what? We actually fell asleep!.......... The next morning.....
"What time are they coming to get us?" Zoe asked. "I have no idea."
Said Lucy. "Well we better start getting ready now, because no telling
what time they will come!" I said. About ten minutes later after we
were all ready we heard a knock at the door. Zoe went and answered it,
"Guys, it's Tay," she yelled "Come on!" We walked to the door. "Hi
Madeline, Hi Lucy." he greeted us. "Are all you guys ready to go?"
"Yeah." I replied. As we walked toward the elevators I asked, "So
where are Isaac and Zac this time?" "Oh their waiting in the lobby."
he answered. "I think they are afraid of elevators!" Tay joked. We all
laughed. As soon as we stepped off the elevator Zac ran up to us and
said, "Let's hurry up and get there! I want to have as much time as
possible!" So we all got into a cab, "Where to?" the drive asked us.
"Laser Quest please, Sir." Isaac replied. "Hey aren't you three guys
the one that sings MMMBop?" "Yes Sir, we sure are." Tay said. "My
daughter absolutley loves you guys!" he said proudly. "Do you think I
can have an autograph?" "Sure! We'd be happy to!" Zac answered
happily. The cab driver handed them a poster of themselves. "Do you
always carry a poster of us around with you?" Zac asked.
"Zac!!!!"Taylor and Isaac screamed. The driver laughed. "That's ok
Zac, see my daughter is making me because she heard you guys were
going to be doing a concert here, she thought I might run into you."
"Oh, I see!" Zac said. We finally arrived at Laser Quest, the day
couldn't have been better! It was so fun! But at 3:00 we left, because
they had to go and do soundcheck and we had to get ready. Tay dropped
us off back at the hotel. "There will be a limo to come pick you guys
up at 5:30, after the concert me Ike and Zac will bring you back here
in the limo." Tay told us. Then he left. "You know what? We will
probably never see him again after tonight!" I said while we were
getting ready. "I know," Lucy replied sadly, "But let's not think
about it right now, let's just think about how great the concert is
going to be!" "Yeah." Zoe agreed. As soon as we were finished getting
ready we walked down to the lobby to wait on the limo., 5 minutes
later it arrived. The driver opened up the door for us. The inside was
awesome! "There's a TV in here!" Zoe announced. "Look there's also a
refridgerator." I said. "Let's open it and see what's in it." Lucy
said. She opened it, there was different kinds of things to drink in
it. Lucy got a Coke, Stacy got a Mountain Dew, and I got a Dr. Pepper.
We sat there and watched TV until we got to the concert. As soon as we
got there the driver opened the door for us again.And we got out.
People must have thought we were Hanson because they started screaming
when the driver opened up the door. But they stopped as soon as they
saw us. We found our seats on the front row and sat down. We waited
for what seemed like an eternity until finally they walked out on
stage. Taylor looked down at us and smiled. "Hello everybody!!" Zac
said into the microphone while waving wildly. There were a bunch of 11
and 12 year old girls in the row behind us. The first song they sang
was 'MMMBop' It went by quickly, and so did the next 4, follwed by 5,
6 songs. Finally after singing a lot of songs off 'Middle Of Nowhere'
and some old songs, Tay said "This is the last song we are going to
sing tonight, and I want to dedicate it to three of my newest and best
friends. I want them to know that even though we won't see each other
a lot, we will still always be best friends and keep in touch." They
started singing 'I Will Come To You' It was the best I had ever heard
it. All three of us were crying, and I could have sworn Taylor had
tears in his eyes too. Well it's a couple of months later now, and
just the other day I found a long-stemmed red rose on my doorstep, it
had a note attached to it that said 'My favorite color'. Zoe and Lucy
