A  long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...$*&^$ (sorry, wrong story)...uh....One day, some friends of mine wanted me to try out a game.  They said it was like Doom® and Duke Nukem 3d®, and I had to try it out.  It was the now legendary Quake 2 game.  I figured I would try it out.  So I downloaded it and installed it...and when it came time for me to make up a player name, I figured - what the heck, I am skinny...Fatfree is pretty original!  I got it all set up..and lo and behold...I sucked.  Every possible place to hide I would try and use it... only to be fragged into delicate little "gibs" within 10 seconds.

"We're just breakin the newbies in!" they said...."Aw, quit runnin' and die like a wuss!" they taunted......"Come get your cookie!" someone said.....

I talked smack back, knowing very well I couldn't back it up.  "Who cares?" I thought, "it's only a game."  I thought I sucked.  I thought I was the worst player ever to wear a big shirt with a target on it.  I thought they loved killing me.  I found out they did.  I loved being dead.  We had so much fun I wanted to run around the dorms with a "railgun" with lag and missing anything I shoot at by a long shot.  This was the birth of an era.....the birth of the wisecracking-cuz-he-can't-play-worth-crap Fatree.  I was officially addicted =)

Ok ok ok...for those of you who really know me and have played the beloved Quake 2 game with me (I have severely slacked off), you know I don't suck TOO bad.  On this page you will find some screenshots, some demos, and just kewlies stuff about the game and my love for it.  It's definitely not my life, but it's a darn fun hobby!
