Canucks Update Zone
Here is all of the players the Canucks have signed
over the off season!
1) Grant Ledyard: The Canucks picked up Grant
incase they couldn't sign Matias Ohland. Now they have lots of solid
defence and can get rid of Dana Murzyn.
2) Mark Messier: This is said to be the BIGGEST
signing in Vancouver Canucks history! They signed him for baddly needed
help at the center ice position. The also got him for help to win the Cup
this year!
3) Matias Ohland: The Canucks took forever to
match Toronto's offer sheet, but they did which automaticially signed him!
Its about freekin' time!
4) Arturs ( Archie ) Urbe: They needed help with
goaltending, because Corey Hirch couldn't cut it, so they signed a good,
solid, NHL goalie. Pat Quinn ( G.M ) said that they are NOT starting the
season with 3 goalies, so this where the road ends for Corey Hirsch!
The season starts for the Canucks on October
4 in Japan. This is the first NHL regular season game out of the North
American continent! This will be a history making game, so watch for it!
