[The Nick Journey] [BSB Voyage]

Thank you to my e-mail friend Krystal "Cuddles" Peterson for this concert review.

I went to the Oct 25th Portland Concert at the Rose Garden Arena... In Portland OR...It was so awesome... the opening acts were good... Mandy Moore and Eyc... the main guy in Eyc sounds like Barry Manalow.....lmao

I had the worst seats you could get but it was so cool because the stage was in the middle and since i was at the top i could see everything they did throughout the whole concert...they came out and there were people holding "TeKe Torches" and they started at one side of the stage and went to every side.. (the stage was shaped like a stop sign) they would stand at one side and look into the crowd then Kevin would shake his head (up and how slowly) 3 times and they would go to the next side.... it was so awesome =-) then they sang LTL and then they would take turns talking to the crowd.... i was disappointed because Kevin didn't say much, but hey he was there and he talked...lol they did some really awesome and totally concert worthy songs... when it was time to sing "The Perfect Fan", 5 "Mother & Daughter" pairs got pulled from the crowd and got to walk the stage with BSB in hand (lucky them) after a while there was a tiny break then all the guys got hooked to wires and flew over the crowd... Brian grabed Teddy Bears from fans and then (knowing Bri) was nice and threw them back out to everyone.... some people were fooled by what seemed like the concert ending and would leave, but always remember..if they havent sang "I Want It That Way" yet then the show aint over..... IWITW is the last song they perform in the concert.. i mean think about it...its the first single off the album they are touring for... they have to sing the song =-) and they did and it was better than any CD you could buy anywhere... it was better than anything and everything because lets face it...it was BACKSTREET BOYS!!! =-)

P.s. Nick and Bri kept messin around with the band.... like sittin down below them and holding there feet down to the stage...it was ssoooooo funny...... and during one of the songs where Nick and Bri didnt have to sing much or something like that... it was so funny cuz thier mics were turned off and they were messin around and talkin and joking.....and laughing really hard... i was dying laughing........lol
