My lucky ICQ buddy, Pamela Meijer from Holland was lucky enough to win a contest to interview the Backstreet Boys! Here's her account of what went on when she had her chance of a lifetime!

On Monday the 20th of June I had a phone call from MTV Germany. And they asked me if I could come to Germany that Friday to see the Backstreet Boys for an interview with MTV!

Of course I could come and I went by train at Thursday night and we arrived Friday morning!

In the afternoon we met the other winners, most were from Germany and some were from Italy, Denmark, England and we were the only 2 from Holland.

First we had to practice the questions, we all got a question to ask. And finally it was for real, the Backstreet Boys came in and the show began. Between the sets Nick and Brian were playing basketball, but every time Nick wanted to throw he had to sit down again cause we had to continue the show again...ah!

Not everybody could ask the question, but I had to ask mine...don't ask me why, I think I had to represent Holland. Well, when it was my turn I got the mic and had to say it, but of course it did not come out very good :( I had my question on my lap so I had to look down, cause I forgot half my question..$#!@!!!! But they understood what I was saying and got a nice answer of them all. I am glad I did it, although I was soooo nervous.

After the show we made a group picture with all the winners and Backstreet Boys. Unfortunately we did not have much time with them. All those bodyguards kept pushing you away and told you to leave, very nice huh?... NOT!! Fortunately Kevin was very nice to me and he came to me to give me a kiss! That was very nice of him!!:)

After this we all went to the concert, which was real good of course. It was very small in there, I did not expect that because I have been to their show here in Amsterdam where they played for 61,000 people (the biggest crowd that ever came especially for them). These pictures are made in Amsterdam.

The next day (Saturday) we went home. On Sunday the BSB arrived here in Holland and of course I went to see them. It was very funny cause Kevin recognized me again!! Of course I also went to the 2 concerts they did here and again it was very cool!!!! The bsb stayed in Holland for 4 days and I 've seen them a couple of times. I hope they will come back real soon!!!
