Info on Sugar Ray
Band's first name: "The Shrinky Dinx" but because of a lawsuit
they changed the name. They then decided on "The Boxers". That
lasted for a short while before changing it to Sugar Ray. They were
almost going to be named "Black Elvis 2000".
The name came from: Sugar Ray Leonared, a favorite boxer of Mark.
Been together: for 9 years.
Band members: Murphy karges, Rodney Sheppard, Craig "DJ Homicide"
Bullock, Stan Frazier, Mark McGrath, Joseph
McGinty Nichols (the director), and you can't forget the dog, Austin.
Tour bus: Silver and red on the outside. The inside has twelve bunks, One bathroom (no #2's),
It havs 2 lounges, cable, Play Station, and lots of other cool things.
Movies: Sugar Ray played in the movie "Father's Day" (Robin Williams and Billy
Crystal).
TV Shows: Sugar Ray has been on many tv shows including, David Letterman,
Rosie o'Donnell, Trl, Politically Incorrect, Howard Stern, and many more
Has Toured With: Incubus, korn, Kiss, Snot, Goo Goo Dolls, 311, and more.
Live shows: In 1996 alone sugar Ray did over 200 Live shows.
Albums: The first: "Lemonade and brownies". The Second: "Floored". The Third: "14:59".
14:59: Is about Andy Warhol's quote " Everyone gets 15 minutes of fame" and it just became double Platinum!!!!!.
Birthdays: Mark's: March 15th. Rodney's: November 25th. Stan's:April 23rd. Murphy: June 20th.

Before Sugar Ray: Mark was a truck driver. Stan was a Paralegal, Rodney was a Telemarketer, (He also
played Chaka on the Tv show "Land of the Lost"), Murphy was a Pizza chef, and Craig was a hip-hop Dj
on a local radio station in CA. 92.3 FM
Land of the Lost: Some people say it was a joke and it's not true. I was watching a show on VH1's "Before They were Rock Stars"
and they said it was true. Who knows.
