The Beauty of Life
Tonight I roam the midst of the night,
shadows dance all round, I am not afraid.
You are all around me, you're hand in mine,
as we walk throughout the hands of time.
Never am I alone for you are always near,
my future, my past, my present.
I close my eyes, my heart at ease,
a sense of comfort, a taste of peace.
Follow me, sweet serenity,
throughout my journey wherever it may lead.
With your breath, blow through my soul,
refresh my being, all that I know.
Paint me a picture of tranquility,
In the beauty of the night.
Gather the choir of birds at dawn,
to sing me the sweetest song.
