One mans love of Barbershop Music carried to an extreme
Steve has had a fondness for skin art for a long time.
He got his first tattoo, a griffin on his upper right arm in the summer of 1985. We really think that there is something magical in the ink that makes you want more. Steve got 2 Tattoos in 1986, a winged lion on his left upper arm and a fire dragon on his right forearm. He waited until 1989 for his next tatoo. A Wizard on his left forearm. For christmas of 1998 Steve and Kier gave each other a trip to the internationally renound Award Winning Juli Moon Designs Inc, in Seabrook NH. What started out as a small tattoo for Steve's shoulder ended up being an expression of Love for Barbershop music. Chris Dingwell who holds a Master Degree in fine Art was excited about the undertaking and jumped at the chance to do Norman Rockwell. Chris told us in order to really do it justice it would need to be bigger then his shoulder. Steve did not care.....
......a real Barbershop Tattoo.
The entire back piece is all Norman

Saturday Evening Post.
The audience was selected from different
Saturday
Evening Post Covers to represent
our 3 children and the animals were added
for comic relief. We drove
the 2 1/2 hours from our home to the Studio 6
times. Over all it took 25 1/2
hours for a cost $2500. Steve endured a
lot of pain to express his “Extreme
Barbershop” and he loves to show it off.
In truth we really love Barbershop,
it is more than a hobby. We can't imagine
life with out it. And yes
we both ride Harley’s.
Steve “Luigi Badabing” is a big
guy with 5 Tattoos, a handle Bar Mustache,
rides a Harley and sings like a
girl.
