Occasionally, material (such as the aids memorial page) is "mature" themed, the poetry is mostly romantic, in classic and mainstream formats. I label the musical style of each piece referenced. There may be some "rap" style pieces in the near future, most isn't. FOR GENERAL INFORMATION some materials are Christian in nature and refer specifically to "the Creator". The site itself does or will contain words like "God" "angels", "witches" in some materials but ABSOLUTELY no specific religions are promoted, either encouraged or discouraged. ESPECIALLY THIS SITE DOES NOT PROMOTE OR GLORIFY bigotry, hate crime, discrimination for any reason, personal or social violence or the use of drugs. In the process of refering to these subjects (not the primary subjects anyway) some reference may be made in the future. MY BEST SUGGESTION IS TO CHECK THE SITE EVERY FEW MONTHS TO MAKE SURE NO CONTENTS disturb you where your children are concerned. I'd say the best age ranges would be mature teens or adults. I myself sponsor a child in Latin America and plan a page regarding her country and situation. I THINK PRETEENS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO VIEW THIS SITE AT THIS TIME (unless you have a little prodigy on your hands who is extremely mature and you are a well educated, permissive parent). ALSO I think it's better for your kids to discuss questionable issues at HOME with you than learning about them elsewhere. I studied kids shows, television generally and cable for 2 years before beginning this site. I'd recommend parenting class or seminar to all parents, many are free. I'm AMAZED at maturity levels even 8 years olds are at. There is a LOT of violence in childrens games, videos and so forth. It pays to be involved at your kids school to be aware of his/her issues. You are obviously a well intentioned parent or you wouldn't be reading this. To that, some of my explicit creative materials may provide a starting point for discussion with you of certain topics when your child hits a transitional age later.
