{Where does the Clan live?}
The Shadow Clan is located in a place that people in the real world do not know exists. The Bermuda triangle. Many myths and rumors have been told of this place, but none have any proof of being true. In the world of fantasy, this place is inhabited by an un-ruled group of people who, although are more advanced in technology than we, are still run the same way a mid evil town would be. Many people there still use swords, bows and arrows, maces, spears and such, as weapons. While others will use the advanced guns, lasers, and anything else that will suit their needs.
Many people wonder.."How can a civilization be so advanced, but still dress, act, and live like people in the mid evil era?" Here is the explanation to that... Thousands of years ago... the triangle was inhabited by people who knew more about technology than we will for hundreds of years to come. However... there were not alot of them in the triangle. Else where, a huge tribe, three times that of the Triangle's present inhabitants, came to the B.T. (Bermuda Triangle) and, being as barbaric as they were, ran the others out. With time, the barbarians managed to find ways of adapting the technology and such left behind, into their own culture. Although they evolved little, their present knowledge of the universe and the world, is far greater than ours.

{Why don't vampires like sunlight?}
Vampire's, frankly, are dead, which means that their skin no longer has pigmentation to it. Think of an albino person. Their eyes and skin are usualy lighter than most other people, and they are light sensitive. Think of something that has NO way of protecting itself from the suns rays. Vampires can go in sunlight, however, it can sometimes irritate them and make them uncomfortable. As for their eyes, most vamps will where sunglass or some other form of eye protection when going outside.

{Why does a stake through the heart kill vampires?}
Okay... think about this question for one moment.... I mean, come on!! A stake through the heart would kill anything! But, I think what some people point out, is that vampires can regenerate from wounds. Well, the answer to that is this... A vampire uses blood the same way we use food. And that blood is a vampires life support. The heart pumps that blood through the vamps body to help replenish it and make it healthy. If that heart is pierced, by anything, not just a stake, that vampire will more likely be paralyzed, not die. But if the heart is pierced, then the vamp can bleed to death.

{Why does a vampire need blood instead of real food?}
Like the sensitive skin thing above, a vampire's internal organs, like it's stomach, are sensitive to anything they have to actually digest. Vampires can slowly teach themselves how to eat and drink normal human foods, although this is most commonly used to fit into the mortal world around them, not in replacement of blood. Blood is several times more healthy than common food, and it replenishes and helps the vamp regenerate more quickly than a human would from eating healthy foods.

{How was vampirism first started?}
No one really knows how vampirism was first started. One of the rumors is that it was a disease, that one person survived from and adapted to, like lycanthropy. The first vampire was named Kain, and all vampires decended from him. Perhaps he was the person who survived that virus. Another rumor is that Kain was there since the begining of time. But this question will probably never be solved.

{Can vampires breed?}
Yes, vampires can breed. The chances of a one breeding succesfuly are as follows...
______Female and Male vampires: 35%
______Female human and Male vampire: 50%
______Female vampire and Male human: 40%
__These stats may vary. A new vampire that hasn't been dead for very long, has more of a chance of breeding than a very old vampire.

{Are vamps weakened by crosses and/or holy water?}
No. Vampires have been found to be quite fond of crosses, and they in no way harm them. Holy water does nothing to them, although it and regular tap water make vamps a little uncomfortable.

{What can vampires do better than humans?}
A vampire is about ten to twenty times stronger than a human, and they have special mind powers and shape-shifting powers that give them an advantage over humans. A vampire has a few main shape-shifting powers, plus any forms they teach themselves to take on. The first for is commonly that of a regular bat. The second is a wolf. And the third is a mist form. Many vampires are taught either to shadow meld (the ability to blend in and move along with shadows.) and/or able to meld into the ground. (Same thing as Shadow meld, really.) Vampires also know how to make their hands turn into long, sharp claws, even when the rest of them remains human. Mind powers a vamp has are usualy...Hypnotic suggestion with common animals, (dragons, unicorns, griffons etc... are not affected by this spell.) possesion of a human, vampirism, (the ability to create other vampires.) telepathy, (most commonly with the vampire's sire. Sometimes with other vamps, but rarely with anything else.) and bond with one particular animal/human. (The ability to have a tight bond with an animal or human, where it allows that vampire and one he/she is bonded with to see, hear, taste, touch, and basically feel what the other is thinking. Most likely, this will be with an animal, rather than a human.)

{Do vampires feel emotion?}
Yes, vampires feel emotions. Sometimes, their emotions are stronger than when they were alive. But that is not true in all cases.

{What does the typical vampire look like?}
A typical vampire has very pale skin, and their canine teeth are always longer than a humans. (Although most vamps have a tendancy to learn how to make their fangs blend in with their regular teeth when they are not needed for feeding or intimidation.) Some vampire's skin and eye pigmintation remains the same, although that is not common. This usually only happens is the person was gypsy or the black, instead of the unfortunate (Depending on how you look at it.) lighter color skinned people.

{Does a vampire create another vampire by biting them?}
No. A person will not turn into a vampire by simply being bit by one. A ritual of draining all blood, then giving the lifeless human some of the vampires blood, must happen before one will turn into a vampire. This ritual is called 'embracing'.
