Is Eric Really Frank Grimes?
A little bit of background:
There has been a rumor circulating recently around Woodstock and the surrounding area that Eric Froats might actually be Frank Grimes posing undercover as a drummer in the Everything's Taken &%&^$# @&%&^%$ rock quartet. Adam Gymesei, a co-worker of Eric's and class-mate of mine has introduced this idea, so i have decided to explore it in detail on this website.
A side by side comparison:
Eric Grimey
Note similarities in hair, glasses, eyebrows and mouth shape.
Now here is an artisits interpretation of what Frank Grimes would look like if he were to appear in a current Simpsons episode. ( All available pictures of Grimey are from the original episode he appeared in which aired for the first time in 1997)
Frank Grimes - aged 5 years from original episode:
I have also received from Matt Groening at Simpsons headquarters, a picture of Frank Grimes in his Dressing room before the taping of his show, i think the evidence speaks for itself.
!!New!! - sound files
I recently spent a day with Eric, so i decided to bring my minidisc player with me, so i could have some examples of just how much Eric appears to act/sound like Frank Grimes. I chose 3 examples of things that happened throughout the day and paired them up with a sound file stolen from the simpson's episode starring the character in question. The final example even has 2 pictures i took of Eric during lunch. I apologize hugely for the awful quality of these files, but theres certain file type and size limits that come with a free site (along with pop-ups, grrr..).
