Comin Correct were formed in 1995 as a side project by Rick from 25 Ta Life. This so-called side project
turned out to be something very serious and meanwhile they have released 3 CDs, several singles and
numerous tracks on various compilations. The fourth album is called 'In Memory Of...' and is dedicated
to Rick's dad Robert Healy and to Gerald Singer. Comin Correct doesn't sound too differently from 25
Ta Life, which means that you can expect very brutal Hardcore with slight Punk and Metal influences.
The CD got produced by Dean Rispler who worked already together with acts like H2O, Skarhead or
Murphy's Law. The CD has a great sound, the instrumentation is a typical good one for a Hardcore
production, but the emotional vocals are just great. Although it's always a brutal CD, it is also containing
enough of variation. The very short 'Grow Up' shows the band from an unexpected violent side, 'Whoever Told
You Life Was Fair' is a faster and melodic song because it's a cover version by the 7 Seconds. The lyrics
are very personal about events that the band or different musicians have experienced on tour or in private
life. Again, Hardcore hasn't been reinvented, but 'In Memory Of...' is a better Hardcore album.
