Hell are really a newcomer band from Luxemburg and I've never heard anything about them
before I found their CD with the cool title 'Well, Come To Hell' in my mail box. The cover
shows a strangely grinning zombie child and the non included lyrics to the well made booklet
are partially in the ancient vein. Now you may suppose to be confrontated to another Black
Metal band, but this isn't the case for Hell. Although the music is sounding very evil,
Hell go more into the Nine Inch Nails direction without achieving of course their class.
As the whole CD was only recorded during 4 hours, the sound quality isn't excellent at all.
The guitar is for example not loud enough compared to the other instruments. The most entertaining
song is the title track with begins with a famous national song about Saint Nicolas. 'Evil Returns'
is the fastest song on this CD and I think that Hell should continue that way. In
general, the songs show a lack of variations. But after less than half an hour, you've passed
the six songs and the intro and outro. These have been Hell's first steps in music recording
and after more rehearsals, they may be able to release music on a higher level.
