The (International) Noise Conspiracy is the new band by Dennis Lyxzén, former leader of Refused, a great band which unfortunately dissolved itself. TINC has from the musical point of view nothing to do with Refused, but the music is an extremely interesting crucible of very different aspects (Punk, Rock'n'Roll, Psychedelic). Anyway it's sounding very retro, but alive and kicking. Maybe this is sounding like a contradiction, but this kind of 60's music is just amazing. Not less interesting than the music is the band's message to the people. As many Punk bands, they are spreading around left orientated idea(l)s, but they are wearing nice dresses because this may help them that people may accept their message easier. Very interesting indead. So the album title 'Survival Sickness' means nothing else than living in our society is a boring and annoying thing. Politically interested people (what I'm not) have to read a lot of text inside the booklet. I prefer the music which really kicks ass; 11 smashers and only one slower song called 'Will It Ever Be Quiet?' This is the sound that you will hear when Elvis will meet Che Guevara. A real hot album!!!! |
