12 songs / 49 minutes

Jeel are a Danish Death Metal band
which has already been founded in 1994. This strange name is the abreviation of the band's
original name JegErEnLampe, impossible to keep in your mind. What they have to offer on their
second CD 'When Morning Turns To Day' is quite surprising. First of all, the bombastic sound
of the songs is more than impressive. Very often a solid production can already save a lot
on a hard Metal album. Jeel are playing very brutal and heavy Death Metal. Their songs
are not very fast, but each one can say about itself to be a rude attack to the ears. More
to this, the musicians play technically on a very high level. Although 49 minutes is a
quite long playing time for a Death Metal album, the CD doesn't annoy at all. It's useless
to name here a single track as highlight of the record. Put the whole CD into your player
and play it very loud! Jeel really have the talents to become Danmarks number one Death
Metal band, although they haven't reached the Konkhra milestone 'Weed Out The Weak' yet.
