Milton are a quite young band formed in 1997. So far they only had published a few songs on some compilations and released a five-song-demo in 1998. Their first full-length CD (about 45 minutes) is supposed to be released in mid October 2000. Nevertheless, I got at this year's PopKomm a three-song-advance of this CD. The first song 'Got The Hell' is a cool mixture of Noise and Rock with an excellent singer. The second track 'Two Heads' is more keyboard orientated and goes more into the darker electronic sound. Surprisingly the third song 'Morph' is again presenting Milton from a different side. The five musicians combine Rock, Folk and Grunge elements to an interesting mixture. So far, so good, Milton are a quite diversified band. I just hope that there aren't too many different styles on the full-length-CD. Anyway the more Rock orientated songs suit them better. |
