As the album title already can tell you, Human 2.0. is the second album by Nasum , one of Sweden's leading Grindcore bands. Already founded in the early nineties, Nasum took Napalm Death as their absolute idol. Parallels are surely the mercyless treatment of vocals and instruments and of course the very short song who have an average duration of about one minute and a half. In 1997, Nasum's first album 'Inhale/Exhale' became a real classic in the Grindcore underground scene (as if there was a mainstream scene). Now they have returned and present a new album containing 25 ferocious, extreme and intense tracks. The lyrics are very political. Although you don't understand a single word that is sung, you may read them in the very clear and esthetic booklet. Fans of early Napalm Death will adore Nasum, although that there is a risk that the 3 minutes last song 'Sometimes Dead Is Better' may be too soft for them. |
