Raging Speedhorn are a British newcomer band situated between Old School Hardcore and Metal. In general, their songs are not very fast, but very brutal, intense and full of emotional wrath. An intersting fact is that Raging Speedhorn has two singers, äh screamers who are organizing a little shouting contest. In the past it has been quite seldom to hear a band mixing together agressive and emotional parts in such a crude way, without respecting any melodies. Even if this is the recipe for all ten songs on this CD, it is never getting boring. And the songs aren't too long so that there is no time for superficial moments. Raging Speedhorn have produced an excellent Hardcore debut and last year, they were already quite successful as the opener for Biohazard. My favourite song on the album is 'Thumper' which is also featured on the CD as a video clip. |
