Reach The Sky call Boston their hometown and they are playing Hardcore. This is sounding like a big cliché, but Reach The Sky surely belong to the better ones. Already in 1999, they presented a great record called 'So Far From Home'. There are no big changes compared to that album, but I don't think that this has been necessary. The new album got again produced by Brian McTernan (Snapcase, Hot Water Music). The sound is great, the same can be said about the songs. Reach The Sky can prove that they are a very diverse band. You find fast songs like the opener 'Let Us Be Damned', brutal tracks like 'The Crowded Streets Of Boston' and surprisingly songs with beautiful melodies (This Sadness Alone). 12 short, but fast tracks combined with lyrics of absolute street credibility. As Hardcore music ever been more wonderful before? |
