SBlive and ASIO?
Sound Blaster and E-MU are both owned by Creative Labs.
There is an unofficial prg APSlive 1.8.4 that is supposed to allow you to
give your sound blaster card an asio driver to lower your latency.
I have tried this and in my opinion I would suggest
you don't try it.
It's a pain in the ass even if you know what your doing.
Sound Blaster is 16 bit. I know musicians are not growing money trees in the yard, but if you're serious, you should save and invest in a 24 bit card.
Like ego systems wami rack 24bit.
There are many cards on the market, (check out our sound card picks in the REVIEWS  section of this site)

You can grow a money tree with some phat beats in your studio, where ever it is.
