* Other great shape activities can be made up using the commercial shapes mentioned above, or by creating your own with some thick, coloured card.
* Make some simple diagrams using a variety of shapes and see if students can copy them.
* Even better than the two dimensional shapes are building blocks. Create some simple "blueprints" for the blocks, and have students create them.
* To get more out of the above two activities, have the students create their own mouse house and have them create their own blueprints which they could then pass on to other students to make up.
