James Files is on record as stating that he recalls duty between Angel Wing and Parrot's Beak in Cambodia (that's Angel Wing on the right) and we have letters from a female in Laos that was his girlfriend. He's written numerous articles on Agent Orange including hand drawn maps and there were numerous military manuals found in his personal storage area. Files' aunt and uncle received a letter from Files from the service that stated that the government had turned him "into a killer." His aunt was ordered by Files not to give us a copy of the letter for he felt their was other sensitive information in the letter that would breach his agreement with the CIA.Files' military records were found by USING THE SOCIAL SECURITY AND BIRTHDATE OF FILES ON HIS FBI RAP SHEET. After an exhaustive 18 month search, an historian for the 82nd Airborne located records on Files including a VA claim #. A year later, those same records had been somehow manipulated and there was no further information available. One reporter was told that the service number and information previously given was for "another" James Files. A cross check with the specific numbers and dates used in the search again turned up a no further information is available response. Where did the VA claim number go?Of special note is the fact that Files/Sutton has been unable to retrieve copies of any of his grammar school and high school records and his birth certificate which said "deceased at birth" (verified by a lawyer for Files/Sutton's family) is not even on record in Alabama, today.Another military historian did an extensive search for Files/Sutton and reported back that no one would speak out for it appears Files/Sutton was involved in a "Sneaky Pete" operation. |
