Solice Always There Mother and Daughter Best Friend
Solace
When will this end
This attack from unknown sources?
Neverending
How do I know what can be done
If it can be done?
relief - I don't know;
Will it ever come?
Looking above, I try to find solace
It is there today but tomorrow?
I'll find out then
I know I will!
Tomorrow - solace is still here!
Standing strong and solid;
For me to lean on
And for Him to carry me!
Always There
How do I know what will come of this?
Satisfaction from failure,
Or success from winning?
Victory?
Help is what is needed;
Always there, never leaving!
Someone great;
Awesome!
Inspiration comes along!
Filling my soul;
Victory is in sight,
Within my grasp!
It comes, bringing happiness;
Peace!
I did it, with His help;
Always there, never leaving!
Mother and Daughter
The meaning of a mother
Can be summed up with this;
Strong, solid, to be leaned on
But also they need to lean on someone.
The meaning of a daughter
Can be summed up with this;
Unconfident, weak, needs to lean on her mother
But also she can support her mother.
A mother's mentor is her mother,
Following her lead, reflecting what she was taught;
Trying to be like, or to improve
Upon what her mother achieved.
A daughter's mentor is her mother,
Being like her will be her greatest achievement;
But being like her is hard,
A little bit is an achievement.
Mother, you are my mentor,
And my guidance in this life with God;
I love you today, and tomorrow the love I feel now
Will be a reflection of your life and your love.
Best Friend
A best friend can be compared
To a soft teddy bear;
Always there when needed
And willing to give you a hug!
My best friend is a very
Special person;
She knows when I'm down
And knows what to do to lift me up again!
I believe people haven't experienced
True, unconditional friendship
Until that one true friend comes along
Who will never leave, no matter what!
A whole lot of love comes with friendship;
Forgiving anything!
Thanks for being that one person and friend
That I can depend on!
