‘The Tour Bus’

  On their way to Cincinnati the guys decided to give their girlfriends a call. There was only one phone so the guys argued about who got to use it first. After about 15 minutes of arguing and ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ Nick finally won. Nick dialed her number and got a busy signal. “Oh man! We just did all of that arguing and Jen’s phone was busy. I cannot believe this! That girl is always on that darn phone! Drew you can use the phone and I’ll try to call Jen later.” Nick said as he handed Drew the phone. Drew excitedly dialed a number that he thought was Tara’s. The phone rang five times and someone finally answered. “Hello? Can I help you?” Candace asked. “Yeah. This is Drew. Is Tara there?” Drew replied. “I’m sorry. I think you have the wrong number. Aren’t you friends with a girl named Tristan?” She asked. “Yeah. She is such a sweetheart. How did you know that?” Drew asked. “She’s my best friend. Listen, I have to go. I hope you get in touch with Tara.” Candace said as she hung up the phone. Drew hung up and dialed Tara’s number. The phone rang three times when her answering machine picked up. “Hi. This is Tara. I’m not here right now. Please leave a message and I’ll get back to you.” The message said. Drew decided to leave a sweet little message. “Hi baby. It’s Drew. I miss you so much. I hope you can still come to the concert. I’ll see you backstage. I love you. Bye.” Drew let out a little sigh and handed Justin the phone. Justin dialed the number and Steph answered after the first ring. “Hi sweetie. I was just on my way out the door. I’m going shopping with my best friend. I’ll see you at the concert. I love you so much. Kisses and hugs.” Steph said and hung up the phone. Justin just stood there with the receiver in his hand and a puzzled look on his face. “What happened Justin? You look a little lost. Did you get a hold of Steph?” Nick asked. “Oh. I’m fine. That was just a little weird. Usually Steph would drop everything to talk to me. She just rushed off the phone. I hope everything is okay.” Justin said quietly. Jeff was very anxious to talk to Nichole. He walked over and took the phone away from Justin. When Nichole picked up the phone Jeff could tell that she had been crying. “Nichole, sweetie. What’s wrong? You sound upset. Are you okay?” Jeff asked sweetly. “I just missed you so much. I found a photo album full of pictures of us. I can’t wait until you’re done touring. I miss waking up to your kisses in the morning.” Nichole said with a sniffle. “I miss being with you too. The tour will be over soon and we can spend as much time together as you want. We’ll see each other at the concert. We can hang out backstage and maybe I’ll even pull you up on stage. I have to go sweetie. Nick needs to use the phone. I love you.” Jeff said. “Okay. I love you too.” Nichole said with a sigh. Nick took the phone and called Jen. “Hello? This is Jen.” Jen said when she answered the phone. “Hi babe. It’s me. How are you?” Nick said excitedly. “Hi Nick. Can I call you right back? I have my mom on the other line.” Jen said softly. She hung up the phone and Nick waited anxiously for the phone to ring. When the phone finally rang Nick jumped up and grabbed it before anyone else could get near it. Nick sat there for a second and then turned and handed Drew the phone. “It’s Goldie. She wants to talk to you about the concert. I hope she doesn’t want backstage passes.” Nick said with a sigh. Drew slowly put the phone up to his ear. “Hello Goldie. What do you want?” He asked nervously. “Andy, doll, you know exactly what I want. I want you. I have since the day I met you. I can’t wait to see you in Cincinnati. I got really good seats. 3^rd row center. Are you going to mention me at all during the concert?” Goldie replied. “First of all, don’t call me Andy. You know I don’t allow that. Not even my own mother calls me that. Second, no I was not planning on mentioning you at all. If that’s all you wanted then I’ll be going now.” Drew said angrily as he slammed the phone down. The phone rang again and Justin answered. “Hi. This is Jen. Is my sweetie around?” Jen asked. “Hi Jen. It depends on which sweetie you’re talking about because we’re all four right here.” Justin said with a chuckle. Nick reached over and grabbed the phone and sat back in his bunk. “Hi babe. I’ve missed you so much. Please tell me you can still make it to the concert. I really need to see you. I have so much to tell you. It’ll be fun to hang out with you backstage before the concert.” Nick said quietly. Drew, Justin, and Jeff kept walking past Nick making kissing faces at him. Nick threw his pillow and hit Drew in the head knocking his hat onto the floor. “Yes Nick. I’ll be there. I wouldn’t miss the concert for the world. I missed you too and would love to see you. Tell the guys I said hi and give them my love. I need to try and get some sleep now. I love you sweetie.” Jen said. “I love you too. I’ll do that. Sweetest of dreams babe. Talk to you later.” Nick said sweetly. The guys decided to turn off the lights and get a little sleep while they still could.

'The Lachey Residence'

  The guys woke up to find themselves parked outside of Nick and Drew’s parents’ house. Everybody decided to go inside and go to sleep except for Drew. He wanted to call Tara and see if they could get together. “Hi Tara. It’s Drew. Do you want to get together while I still have some free time? I really miss you.” Drew said quietly so he wouldn’t wake the others. “I want to see you too. It’s kind of late. Where could we possibly go?” Tara said with a sigh. Drew scratched his head and then smiled. “I know the perfect place. We can go to Jillian’s. I heard it’s open all night. I haven’t been to a club in ages. It could be fun. I’ll be there to pick you up in 35 minutes. That should give you enough time to get ready. I love you.” Drew said cheerfully. “Okay sweetie. I love you too. Hugs and kisses for my Drew Bear.” Tara said excitedly as she hung up the phone. Drew ran into the bathroom and brushed his teeth. He lifted his arms to smell his armpits and let out a little cough. He frantically searched for his deodorant and cologne and dropped everything out of the drawer of his mother’s sink. “Drew sweetie are you okay? You’re making an awful lot of noise in there.” Drew’s mother asked. “I’m okay mom. Do you know where my deodorant is? I’m in a little bit of a hurry.” Drew said while searching every drawer in the bathroom. “Don’t you remember sweetheart? I threw all of that stuff in your underwear drawer. Right underneath your clean boxers.” His mother yelled from downstairs. “Thanks for telling the world mom. I really appreciate it.” Drew said as his face turned bright red. Drew ran into his room where Jeff was sleeping and tiptoed over to his dresser. He slowly opened his underwear drawer and took out a clean pair of boxers, his deodorant, cologne, and a brand new pair of socks. Jeff rolled over and let out a little yawn. “Nice boxers Drew. I wish I had some like yours. I wish I could wear boxers that small.” Jeff said while laughing hysterically. Drew took his teddy bear off the top of his dresser and hit Jeff in the head. Jeff threw a pillow at Drew but he dove towards the door before it could get to him. Drew ran to the bathroom to get ready only to find Justin inside complimenting himself. Nick walked up and pounded on the door. “Come on Justin. I really have to use the bathroom. You can admire yourself later. There are other people in this house you know. I swear you really like mirrors.” Nick said impatiently. Justin opened the door and Nick ran into the bathroom and slammed the door in Drew’s face. Drew hit the door with his head and let out a little whimper. He looked down at his watch and knocked on the door. “Come on Nick. I’m supposed to pick Tara up in 20 minutes. You can have the bathroom for as long as you want after I leave.” Drew said nervously. Nick opened the door and ran into his bedroom wearing only boxers and a wife beater. Drew ran into the bathroom and finished getting ready. He grabbed his hat and ran out the front door. Tristan and Candace were walking down the street and spotted Drew. “Oh my gosh! I think I’m gonna faint. He is so hot. And would you look at those legs!” Tristan said with a smile. “Oh I know! And would you look at that sexy little ass!” Candace said with a wink. “Hey Drew baby. Those are really nice boxers. We really like the pant less look on you!” Candace and Tristan said with a giggle. Drew looked down and began to blush. He was in such a hurry to leave that he forgot to put pants back on. “Hi ladies. Are you going to our concert on Saturday?” Drew asked. “We wanted to but I couldn’t get tickets. They were sold out by the time I got to the box office. I bet the concert is going to be really awesome.” Tristan said with a sigh. “Well I happen to have two tickets and backstage passes with your names on them if you want them. Come inside and let me put on some pants and I’ll get them for you.” Drew said with a smile. “Drew you’re the best. I just love you so much. Is your brother inside? I haven’t seen him in a long time.” Tristan said as a smile came across her face. Drew nodded his head and opened the door. Tristan, Candace, and Drew walked into the house and the girls followed Drew upstairs. Nick walked out of his bedroom and Tristan fell back against the wall. “Wow Nick. You look really good. Especially when all you have on is boxers and a wife beater. It really shows off your sexy body. I remember I used to have the biggest crush on you. It’s too bad you have such a nice girlfriend or I’d have to steal you away. I better let you go do what you were going to do. It was really nice seeing you again. See you at the concert.” Tristan said while blushing. “Why thank you. You look good too. I never knew you had a crush on me. That is so sweet. I’ll see you later. Nice seeing you.” Nick said with a smile. Drew handed Tristan the tickets and ran out the door. Nick kissed Tristan on the cheek and ran into his bedroom. Candace grabbed Tristan by the arm and drug her out the front door. Drew jumped in his car and waved to the girls. He drove down the street and slowed down. He looked behind him to make sure nobody was following him. When he finally got to Tara’s house he checked his hair in his rear view mirror and put his hat back on. He slowly got out of his car and walked to her front door. Tara walked outside and ran to Drew. She wrapped her arms around him and then they walked hand in hand to Drew’s car and they drove away.

'The Club'

  Drew and Tara finally arrived at Jillian’s and found Maricar waiting outside for them. “Hi Maricar. How are you? Why are you sitting outside all alone? Where’s your boyfriend?” Drew asked. “Hi dear. I’m fine. I needed to get some fresh air. He’s inside somewhere dancing with some girl. I’m glad to see that you’re back in town. I’ve missed you so much.” Maricar said with a smile. Drew put his arms around both girls and they walked into the club together. Once they got inside they noticed that the DJ looked very familiar. Drew went in for a closer look and saw that the DJ was Justin Timberlake from *N Sync. “Yo Drew. What’s up with ya? I haven’t seen you in a long time.” Justin T. said with a smile. “Hey Justin. How are you? It has been a while. How are things going between you and the ladies? Where’s your girlfriend I’ve heard so much about?” Drew asked with a wink. “Man I don’t have a girlfriend. That was all just a rumor. But I do have girls crawling all over me. Especially this chick named Candace. Man is she a wild one. She should be here soon.” Justin said with a chuckle. Tara went to the ladies’ room and Drew felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Goldie smiling at him. “Hi Andy baby. How are you? Did you miss me? I really missed you.” Goldie said with a wink. “Don’t call me Andy! I don’t like that and you know it. I just wish you would stop calling me that. I’ve gone my whole life without being called that and I’d like to keep it that way.” Drew said angrily. Goldie saw Tara come out of the bathroom and she put her arms around Drew. He tried to get away from her but her grip was way too tight. Tara walked over and gave Goldie an evil look. “Do you mind? That is my boyfriend you have your paws all over. I suggest you unhand him before I have to do something about it.” Tara said with her hands at her hips. “Hi Tara. Let’s not make any trouble now. He was mine way before he was ever yours. Just calm yourself down a little bit.” Goldie said in a snobbish tone. Maricar walked up and stood between the two girls. “Now ladies we don’t need this. Goldie you are old news. That’s why Drew isn’t with you anymore. You should leave these two alone and get on with your life.” Maricar said while pushing Goldie back. Drew took Tara by the hand and led her to an empty table. Goldie tried to follow them but Maricar stepped in front of her. Michelle walked in and took a seat at the bar. A few minutes later Drew saw Justin J. walk in the door. “Hey man. What are you doing here? I thought you were asleep. Where are Nick and Jeff?” Drew asked. “I just felt like getting out and enjoying myself. I was asleep for a while but I woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep. Nick and Jeff were still sleeping when I left. I’ll talk to you later. I’m going to get a drink or two.” Justin J. said with a smile. He walked up to the bar and sat down next to Michelle. “What can I get for you miss?” The bartender asked. “I’ll take a Sex On The Beach please.” Michelle answered. “I’ll have what she’s having.” Justin J. said with a wink. Justin J. had a couple of drinks and then he started flirting with Michelle. They ended up going into the coatroom together and coming out about 45 minutes later. Justin J. wrote his phone number down and gave it to Michelle. He kissed her on the cheek and went back to Drew’s house. Candace and Tristan walked in and started to dance. “Candace is my mind playing tricks on me? Does that bartender look familiar to you? I think he kind of looks like J.C. Chasez. In fact, I think it’s him. Oh my goodness. He is so cute! But not nearly as cute as Nick Lachey.” Tristan said with a smile. “Yes that is J.C. Chasez. And there is my baby over there. I’ll see you in a little while. I have some partying to do. Try not to get into too much trouble now.” Candace said with a wink. Candace pushed her way through the crowd and made it to the front of the dance floor. Everybody was excited and jumping up and down. Candace was pushed against Goldie a couple times before she got in the DJ’s booth with Justin T. She was all over him and the bouncers tried several times to get to her. Tristan walked over to the bar and sat down. She sat there and stared into J.C.’s beautiful blue eyes. “Can I get you something?” J.C. asked. “Yeah. Get me something sweet. I’ve never had Sex On The Beach before. Give me one of those. It sounds like fun.” Tristan said with a wink. J.C smiled and gave her the drink and a bowl of pretzels. Drew and Tara danced together for a while and decided to go back to Tara’s place. Tristan ran up and hugged Drew before he left and ran back to the bar. She paid J.C. and went to find Candace. Candace kissed Justin T. and jumped out of the DJ’s booth. The girls found each other and decided to go home. Morning finally came and Drew still wasn’t home. Nick, Jeff, and Justin woke up and decided to go off by themselves and meet their girlfriends.                                                             

’The Skating Rink’

  Before Justin left to meet up with Steph he got a call from Amanda. “Hi Justin. Since you won’t be in town during my birthday party would you like to go skating with me today? It would really make me happy.” Amanda asked shyly. Since she was his best friend from as far back as he could remember Justin didn’t want to upset her. “Sure. I’ll be there. Steph will probably be there with me. We’ll see you when we get there dear. Bye.” Justin said sweetly. Amanda walked to her room with a smile on her face and got ready to go skating. Justin picked up the phone and called Steph. “Hi sexy. How would you feel about going skating today? Amanda’s birthday is coming up and I told her I would celebrate with her today.” Justin said nervously. “That’s cool sweetie. We can go roller-skating today as long as we can spend some time alone tonight. I don’t want any interruptions. You’ve been gone for so long. I better go get ready. I love you so much.” Steph said as she hung up the phone. Justin ran into the tour bus to grab some clothes so he could get ready. As he was going through his bag he heard the door lock behind him. Someone slowly walked towards him and tapped him on his shoulder. He jumped up and hit his head on Drew’s bunk knocking himself out cold. Michelle put a cold washcloth on his forehead and his eyes flew open. “Michelle? Is that you? What are you doing here? What happened to me?” Justin asked while rubbing a knot on his head. “ Justin I have something really important to tell you. I saw you getting on the tour bus so I followed you. I guess I scared you because you jumped and hit your head on a bunk.” Michelle explained. “I really hope this is important because I have to go pick Steph up in a few minutes…” Justin said when Michelle interrupted him. “It is very important. I went to the doctor yesterday, Justin. He told me something that is going to change both of our lives. Remember that night in the coatroom at Jillian’s? I don’t think you used any protection and now I’m pregnant. I don’t know what to do. My fiancé is going to kill me. I know it’s not his baby because we haven’t had sex yet. I absolutely cannot get an abortion. It’s against all of my beliefs.” Michelle said as tears streamed down her cheeks. “I don’t know what to tell you Michelle. I just hope that the baby you’re carrying isn’t mine. I have to go get Steph now. I’ll talk to you later.” Justin said as he walked out the door and ran into the house to change. He got into his car and drove to Steph’s house while his hands shook like crazy. He was very nervous and didn’t know what to do. When Steph got in the car Justin fought the shaking and drove to Golden Skates. Steph knew there was something wrong with Justin but she couldn’t figure out what it was. “Is there something wrong sweetie? You seem nervous or worried about something. Is there anything I can do to help you?” Steph asked while rubbing Justin’s knee. “Oh it’s nothing babe. I think I’m just a little tired or something.” Justin said as he pulled into the parking lot. They walked inside and Steph ran to put her skates on. Amanda saw Justin walking slowly by himself and ran up to him. “Hi dear. What’s wrong? You look worried about something. Tell me what’s wrong. You can trust me. You’re my best friend.” Amanda said and gave Justin a big hug. “Amanda, I am in so much trouble. Michelle told me she was pregnant today. That’s not the worst part. She thinks the baby is mine. I don’t know what to do. I can’t tell Steph. It’ll just crush her. Please help me.” Justin said nervously. Amanda grabbed him by the hand and pulled him off to the side. “Justin you have to tell Steph. She should understand. This isn’t something you can keep from your girlfriend. I’ll go with you if you want me to.” Amanda explained. Justin looked over at Steph and scratched his head. “Thanks Amanda. I think I better tell her on my own but not here. I’ll tell her tonight at her apartment. I better go over there before she starts to worry. I hope I haven’t ruined your day.” Justin said with a nervous smile. He gave Amanda a hug and kiss on the cheek and walked over to Steph. He put on his skates and took her by the hand. “Come on babe. Let’s go have some fun.” He said with a smile. They skated around the rink holding hands and having fun.  ‘Foolish Games’ by Jewel played over the loudspeaker and Steph got excited. She took Justin by the hand and started dancing around the rink. Justin looked over his shoulder and noticed that the mascot, Ricky Raccoon, was following them. Amanda noticed this too and skated over and stood by Justin. All of a sudden ‘The Hokey Pokey’ started and everyone rushed to the center of the rink. Everybody was dancing and having fun and all Justin could do was smile nervously. After the song was over the person inside Ricky Raccoon took the head off. “Hi Justy! I haven’t seen you in a while. I’m Ricky Raccoon. Isn’t that cool? I’ve missed you so much. Who is this?” Jamie asked while pointing at Steph. “That is Steph. My girlfriend. If you don’t mind I’d like it if you would stop following me.” Justin replied. Jamie got mad and grabbed Justin’s shoulders and kissed him. Steph turned around and slapped her in the back of the head. “Didn’t you hear what he said? I’m his girlfriend, not you. Leave us alone!” Steph said angrily. She took Justin by the hand and stormed over to Amanda. “I’m really sorry Amanda. I kind of lost my temper. We better go. I really don’t want to ruin your day.” Steph said as she hugged Amanda. Justin hugged Amanda and followed Steph out the door. Amanda walked up to the manager and had Jamie fired. Justin and Steph got into his car and sped away.

’Getting Ready’

  Nick slowly sat up in his bed and stretched. He let out a yawn and looked over at his clock. “Oh no! It’s noon already? I hope Jen hasn’t left yet. My hair is a mess. I need to take a shower.” Nick said as he jumped to his feet. He ran over to the phone and dialed Jen’s number. Nick got nervous as the phone continued to ring then Jen finally answered. “Hello? Sorry I took so long. My friend knocked on the door when the phone started to ring.” Jen said while trying to catch her breath. “Hi babe. Are you okay? You didn’t have to rush to the phone. I would’ve waited for you to do what you had to do. I just wanted to see if you’d like to spend the day with me. Are you busy today?” Nick asked sweetly. “Actually I was going to go to the mall with Jodie. You can come with us if you’d like. Do you think Jodie knows you’re back in town? I know she’s your best friend but I’m not sure anybody told her about you staying in Cincinnati for a while.” Jen said cheerfully. “I would love to go to the mall with you and Jodie. I didn’t get a chance to talk to her yet. I guess she’s in for a surprise. I have to go take a shower. I’ll be there in about an hour to pick you girls up. I love you.” Nick said with a little yawn. He hung up the phone and ran into the bathroom. Jeff was walking down the hall and stopped outside the bathroom door. Inside Nick was singing ‘I Do (Cherish You)’ while he was in the shower. Jeff started laughing and pounded on the door. “I’ll be out in a minute. I’m almost finished.” Nick said in a singsong tone. Jeff started pacing around the hallway and pounded on the door again. The water turned off and a minute later Nick opened the door and stepped out. Jeff started to run but then stopped in his tracks and started cracking up. In the middle of the hallway stood Nick wearing a knee-length pink frilly bathrobe with a towel around his shoulders. Jeff ran into the bedroom and grabbed his camera and took a picture. Nick jumped at Jeff but the bedroom door slammed shut and Nick hit the door. Nick ran back into the bathroom and brushed his teeth and flossed. Jeff ran to the phone and called Nichole. “Hi Nichole. I missed you so much sweetie. Can we get together today? I don’t really have anything else to do.” Jeff asked with a chuckle. “Sure honey. What did you have in mind? What is so funny? Why are you laughing?” Nichole asked. Jeff paused for a second and took a deep breath. “We can go have a picnic in the park. You missed a really funny sight. Nick is running around in a pink bathrobe. I took a picture of him. He is going to get me when he finally catches up with me. I think I’ll give Jen a copy of it. I’ll be there to pick you up in 30 minutes. I’ll fix us a basket of food. I love you sweetie.” Jeff said with a soft chuckle. “I think I might want a copy of that picture too. I’ll be here waiting for you. I love you too honey.” Nichole said with a giggle. Jeff hung up the phone and walked out of the bedroom as Nick walked out of the bathroom. Jeff jumped back and hit the wall then ran down the stairs to the kitchen. Nick chuckled and shook his head. He was standing in the hallway wearing only a pair of boxers, cargo khakis, and a pair of Drew’s brand new socks. He walked into his bedroom and put on his shoes and his baby blue Playaz jersey. He grabbed his keys and ran down the stairs and to the kitchen. “Hey Nick. Do you have any kind of chocolate anywhere? I’m going on a picnic with Nichole and I want to give her a little candy.” Jeff asked excitedly. “I think there’s some Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses in the pantry. Feel free to have a look around. I’m sure my parents won’t mind. You didn’t tell Nichole about the bathrobe incident, did you?” Nick replied. Jeff just stood there with a smile on his face and one eyebrow raised. “Oh man! You did tell her. I can’t believe this. She’ll go and tell Jen and I’ll never hear the end of it. Maybe I should tell people about how much you snore.” Nick said as he jumped towards Jeff. Jeff jumped backwards and fell into the refrigerator. Nick walked up to him, pat him on the head, and walked into the living room. Jeff grabbed the candy and put it into the picnic basket and grabbed his car keys. Nick ran upstairs to use the bathroom then ran out the front door. Jeff walked towards the front door and tripped over his own feet on the way. He stood up and slowly walked out to his car. Nick started up his car with a smirk on his face and drove away. Jeff put the picnic basket in his back seat and climbed in the car. He turned on the car and started to back up when he hit the mailbox. He jumped out of the car, sat the mailbox back up, and jumped back into his car. He looked around to make sure nobody saw what he had done and he drove away.   

'The Mall'

  Nick pulled into Jen’s driveway and jumped out of his car. He walked up to the door and knocked to the rhythm of ‘Invisible Man’. Jen opened the door and Nick slowly walked into the living room. “Hey babe you look really nice. Where’s Jodie? Are you ladies ready to go?” Nick asked and kissed Jen on the cheek. “You look nice too. She’s in the dining room on the phone. We’re ready. Do you want me to tell her that you’re here?” Jen replied with a smile. “No. That’s okay. I want to go surprise her. She doesn’t know I’m back in town yet.” Nick said with a smile. He walked slowly into the dining room and wrapped his arms around Jodie’s waist. Jodie hung up the phone and turned around to find herself gazing into the eyes of her best friend. “Oh my gosh! Nick you’re actually here! I’ve missed you so much!” Jodie said with a smile as she kissed Nick on the cheeks. Nick smiled and led Jodie to the living room. He then took Jen by the hand and led the girls out to his car. “Let’s hit the mall. I am ready to spend the day with my two favorite girls. It is so great to be back in Cincinnati.” Nick said as he jumped in his car. Jen jumped in the front seat and Jodie climbed in the back. Nick turned on the radio and ‘I Do (Cherish You)’ came on. “Now that’s what I call a love song! Kiss 107 FM is the best radio station in Cincinnati. I can’t wait until the tour is over and I can catch up on some rest. We’ll probably be starting another tour for the next album soon.” Nick said with a smile. The girls smiled at him and sang along with the radio. They approached the parking lot of Tri County Mall when they heard a car full of girls screaming and whistling behind them. Nick waved at the girls and went to find a parking spot. They finally found a non-handicapped spot and Nick quickly parked his car. Nick jumped out of the car and ran to open Jen and Jodie’s doors. He extended both hands and helped the girls out of the car. As they walked to the front entrance Nick got an intense feeling that he was being followed. He turned around but didn’t see anyone. What he didn’t know was that Angie was following close behind him. “What’s the matter, sweetie? You’re acting kind of weird. Did you forget something in the car?” Jen asked with a concerned look. “I’m okay babe. I just got this weird feeling that I’m being followed. Maybe I’m just going crazy. I’m used to crazed fans chasing me everywhere I go. I don’t think I left anything back in the car. I’ll be fine. Let’s go shop!” Nick said and took Jen and Jodie by the arm. They walked into the mall together and walked down to the lower level. There was a crowd of people forming and Nick wondered why. There was a stage set up and all he could see was Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez. “Okay everybody. We would like to introduce you to a new group who is just starting out. Here are Tristan and Candace singing a few songs. First they’ll perform ‘Baby One More Time’ by Britney Spears.” JC announced to the cheering crowd. “Hi everybody. I’m Tristan and this is my best friend Candace. We are from right here in Cincinnati, Ohio. We’re currently trying to get a record deal. I hope you like what you’re about to hear. We’ve been singing together for a while.” Tristan explained to the crowd. The people started cheering as the background music began. Tristan and Candace started singing and dancing nervously as the crowd watched on. Jen and Jodie went to get something to drink and Nick made his way towards the front of the crowd to get a better look at his friend Tristan. She noticed him smiling at her and she gave him a little wink. “This next sing is by an awesome performer. We will be performing ‘Genie In A Bottle’ by Christina Aguilera. She’s one of our favorite performers. We really hope you like it.” Candace said excitedly as the crowd cheered wildly. The girls performed and shook peoples’ hands. “Hey. Those girls are actually really good. I didn’t know Tristan knew how to sing like that. I’ve known her for so long.” Nick said with a big smile. “I don’t think she sounds good at all. I’ve heard dogs that sing so much better. I don’t think she’s pretty at all either. She needs to get her chubby ass off that stage.” A girl behind Nick snapped rudely. He turned around to find his ex-girlfriend Angie standing there with her arms folded. “What are you talking about? You’re the one who also told me that I couldn’t sing and look at me now. I have two successful albums and a Christmas album on its way soon. And for your information she happens to be a good friend of mine. That girl is anything but fat and ugly. I happen to find her very attractive. Please don’t bash her in front of me. Were you the one following me earlier?” Nick said harshly. Angie just stood there and gave Nick an evil look. “Hi sweetie. Sorry we took so long we… What are YOU doing here? Stay away from my boyfriend! He’s not yours anymore. Just go away and leave us alone. Come on sweetie. Our movie is about to start.” Jen said while giving Angie an evil look. Jen took Nick by the arm and led him to Jodie who was standing outside the movie theater with their tickets. Jodie turned around and Jen and Nick were standing there with angry looks on their faces. “What’s wrong with you two? You were so much happier when we first got here.” Jodie asked. “We just ran into my ex. She makes me so mad.” Nick said with a sigh. “You saw Angie? What is she doing here?” Jodie asked. “I’m not sure what she’s doing here. Let’s just go watch our movie.” Nick replied. They all walked into the theater. Tristan and Candace finished singing and went home. After the movie Nick, Jen, and Jodie left to avoid running into Angie again.
