What Can I Do About It
It's been a while
since I've seen your smile
under the sunlight
Wish it weren't that way
really loved those days
you always shined so bright
And what can I do about it?
I keep wondering to myself
Wish there was some way that I
could reach out to you and help
to bring you back home
But what can I do about it?
I'd really like to brighten things
and just think,
what it'd be like
standing strong, you and me
It's been so long
seems so wrong
your team has failed you
Can't keep from wishing
I could step into the picture
and make a new dream came true
And what can I do about it?
I keep wondering to myself
Wish there was some way that I
could reach out to you and help
to bring you back home
But what can I do about it'
I'd really like to brighten things
and just think,
what it'd be like
standing strong, you and me
I'd really like to be the one
to part the clouds and bring in the sun
I'd really like to step up and say
that I've got the plans for a better day
And what can I do about it?
I keep wondering to myself
Wish there was some way that I
could reach out to you and help
to bring you back home
But what can I do about it?
I'd really like to brighten things
and just think,
what it'd be like
standing strong, you and me
standing strong, you and me
standing strong, you and me

Is It More Than Just a Dream
Sitting here waiting
and debating
if it could happen
or am I just tricking myself?
Am I just dreaming?
That's how it's seeming
could it work out,
or is it too much to ask?
Simple words, not so simple wishes
simple lines, not so simple hopes
what can I say?
That's how it seems
but is it more than just a dream?
If you could reach out your hand
if you could just understand
how much I need you
and what you mean to me
Simple words, not so simple wishes
simple lines, not so simple hopes
what can I say?
That's how it seems
but is it more than just a dream?
Simple words could be simple wishes
simple lines could be simple hopes
what can I say
to make it be
more than just a dream?
more than just a dream?
more than just a dream?

Angie's Sweet Revelation
She?s not the one you think of
when you look at the stars
she?s not the one you dream of
with pearls and shiny cars
but she?s the one who took
it into her heart
to take the step
to make the bet
the one who came so far
It?s Angie?s sweet revelation
what a sweet creation
standing there
what a world waiting
and she?s never been there before
never been there before
She?s the one who saw
the sequins in their eyes
and she?s the one who was
taken by sweet surprise ?cause
she?s the one who?s now
standing by their side
with the best
like the rest
she?s not just along for the ride
It?s Angie?s sweet revelation
what a sweet creation
standing there
what a world waiting
and she?s never been there before
never been there before
It?s Angie?s sweet revelation
what a sweet creation
standing there
what a world waiting
and she?s never been there before
Angie?s never been there before

The Ballad of Jeannie Basil (Glitterville)
He said, ?I want
to go to Glitterville?
?Maybe I?ll become a star,
like they do in Glitterville?
?I don?t mind saying that I wouldn?t mind staying
in this place I?ve found?
that?s how Jeannie Basil came out
to Glitterville
?I don?t mind saying that I wouldn?t mind staying
in this place I?ve found?
that?s how Jeannie Basil came out
to Glitterville
?The stars shine bright,
the farm boys hold me through the night
and I love it here in Glitterville
and I love it here in Glitterville
and I love it here in Glitterville?

Cabaret Girl
Solo in the spotlight
can anyone see
the words and the tune
like you do?
Solo in the spotlight
behind the shadows of fame
can anyone see
that it doesn't touch your name
the way it should?
Oh, cabaret girl,
under-rated
they just can't see
the talent you're displaying
they just can't appreciate
the magic you're weaving
cabaret girl, one day you'll soar
oh, someday you'll soar
Solo in the spotlight
unseen, for much too long
can anyone see
how much you belong
in the big time?
Solo in the spotlight
before a crowd of thousands
this is your dream
can anyone see how grand?
Oh, cabaret girl,
under-rated
they just can't see
the talent you're displaying
they just can't appreciate
the magic you're weaving
cabaret girl, one day you'll soar
oh, someday you'll soar
