This past season we were busy, busy, busy.  We prepared for the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC), which was held the first week of November, 1998.  We received 3rd place in the PAS Indoor Drumline Competition,   AND OUR VERY OWN JASON HEROLD WON THE PAS WORLD MULTIPERCUSSION CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITION!!!!  He received a 99.95 out of 100!!!   CONGRATULATIONS JASON!!!! :) We performed with our two percussion ensembles, mallet ensemble, steel band, and indoor drumline. 

I personally would like to thank the drumline and PAS drumline for getting through a lot of things we've set out to accomplish.  We all have really worked hard, and in the end it has payed off tremendously!  Thanks to Clif Walker for all his writing and devotion to the drumlines, and for putting up with us cats.  : )

The theme of our PAS show was "The Quest for Sir Chop-a-lot" (Something like that), it consisted of 3 movements and related to the medieval times of knights, wizards, and Adidas� Tear-Aways.  "Wait a minute, how do tear-aways fit into that!?"  Hey, we can do whatever we want. : �
