She was born on 19-05-1967. We all know her voice from the Ice MC hits, where she was the female vocalist. Take Away The Colour, It's A Rainy Day, Think About The Way, Run Fa Cover, Russian Roulette, Dark Night Rider are the songs from Ice MC with Alexia. In 1995 Alexia released her first solo-single (with a little help from Double You), called Me And You. After that great eurotracks followed, like Summer Is Crazy, Number One and the euro reggae track Uh La La La. In 1997 her album Fan club was released, one of the best Eurodance albums of the year. The album also was released in America, with a different title: Fun Club. With Uh La La La Alexia had her biggest hit all over Europe, although it took almost a year of airplay. In several countries this track was released to times: first in 1997 and later in 1998 again. With this track it seemed that Alexia had said goodbye to eurodance, because the folow-up Gimme Love almost was a copy of Uh La La La. Also the second album was a disappointment (in my opinion). The first album had lots of great eurodance tracks, this album was filled with some ballads and some euro reggae. Only The Music I Like was a good old eurodance song. This song was released as the follow-up to Gimme Love with some terrible remixes. I hope Alexia will go back to eurodance in the future...
