Brooklyn Bounce are two Germany producers Matthias Menck and Dennis Bohn. On stage the music is represented by Damon and dancers Ulrica and Maeva. Matthias has his own audio studio in Hamburg. In 1995 he met Dennis during a DJ job in a club in Hamburg. Dennis and Matthias started Mental Madness Productions and they had their first chart success with the co-production Singin' In My Mind by Boyz R Us. Matthias also was mixer for the Progressive Attack compilations where he and Dennis did tracks under several names like Dolphin Sound, Mental Madness and Toxilogic. For the 4th volume they desided to make a lead track. That was The Theme. That track became a huge club hit and was also top 10 in the German sales chart in 1997. The follow-up was Get Ready To Bounce which debuted at 6 in the sales chart. A new
hit machine was born. An album The Beginning was released and the 3rd single Take A Ride entered the chart. Not long after that a new single was released, not from the album: The Real Bass. A new album came very quick: The Seond Attack was released in 1998, less than a year after the first album. The 5th single was The Music's Got Me, an old Bass Bumpers song. Although quite successful, this was not exactly their most favourite track so they came back with a new smash hit Contact end 1998. Get Sponsored |
