M.R. are the initials of the famous singer called Maggie Reilly, who had worldwide success as the voice on the Mike Oldfield songs Moonlight Shadow and To France. After that she went solo and had some hits like Everytime We Touch, Wait and Follow The Midnight Sun. In 1996 some producers thought that it would be a great idea to remix some of her songs for the dancefloors. They choose the projectname M.R. and the first single was released in 1996: Walk On By, a dreamdance track inspired by Children from Robert Miles. The song was a big success, but the follow-up To France even was a bigger success. The classic song from Mike Oldfield was totally remixed and the result was marvellous! After that the best remix was released (in my opinion): Listen To Your Heart. Also an M.R. Album was
released: All The Mixes with three different mixes of the three singles. The original pop versions of these remixes can be found on the Maggie Reilly album Elena.Some remixers info: JPO is Jan Peter Odendahl, who also did remixes for Music Instructor, Michael Urgacz is BEAM and is known for his part in On Y Va from Beam and Yanou.
