KURT CUSTER

Since leaving Skynyrd, Custer has worked with Steve Earle (drums, percussion & vocals), the Orlando Pops Orchestra (arranging), and the Little America Band.

CAROL BRISTOW

We are unable to confirm this info., but as far as we know, Carol Bristow Zur is now living in the Neptune Beach, Fl. area with her husband. Since singing background vocals with Skynyrd, Carol did some accoustic work around Jacksonville, and works with teens through a church group in Ponte Verde.

DEBBIE DAVIS

Debbie's last work with Lynyrd Skynyrd was in 1996 on the "Hotter than Asphalt" cd, and since then, she has worked as a back up singer for several other singers and bands. Debbie is married to Mike Estes, and is living in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

ALLEN COLLINS

Allen, of course, went on to form the Rossington-Collins Band, and the Allen Collins band in the years after the crash. Allen passed away January 30th, 1990, and is laid to rest beside his beloved wife Kathy, at the Riverside Memorial Cemetary on Normandy Blvd. in Jacksonville. Allen's daughter Amie, now married, lives in Allen's home, and his daughter Allyson is also still in the Jacksonville area.

CASSIE GAINES

Cassie is laid to rest near Ronnie and Steve at the
Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, Florida.

STEVE GAINES

Steve is laid to rest near Ronnie and Cassie at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, Florida. Steve's widow, Teresa Gaines still lives in the home she & Steve bought near Jacksonville, and is now married to musician Barry Rapp. Steve's daughter Corrina is now married, and also living in the Jacksonville area.

RONNIE VAN-ZANT

Ronnie is laid to rest at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens, at 111 Blanding Rd. in Orange Park, Florida. Flowers, flags, and other momentos are regularly left there by fans from around the world, and the tree next to Ronnie's crypt is full of carved initials and messages from the fans. Ronnie's widow, Judy, and daughter Melody both live in the Jacksonville area, and together, they run the Freebird Foundation,they've recently opened a recording studio, "Made in the Shade", and will soon open "The Freebird Cafe", which will showcase many Lynyrd Skynyrd rarities.
