NEURAXIS: The headquarter of the human's neurosystem, located in the neck. Involving all the psychological/pathological of the human's universe.
Formed by Steven Henry(guitar/vocals) in 1993. Soon after Yan Thiel(bass) & Felipe Quinzanos(guitar) joined in early 1994. Around this time, the name NEURAXIS was decided for the group.
After playing several shows with then-vocalist Michel and a drum machine, the band replaced Michel(now with AGONY) with new frontman Maynard Moore in july of 1995. Following this, drummer Mathieu Royal entered in september'95. Many shows after, the band recordered their 1st album, titled 'Imagery', in summer of 1996. The album was a blend of their early style, brutal death/grind, and also hinted at a more melodic style that they would later develop on. Then in november'96, the band replaced Felipe Quinzanos(guitar) with new guitarist Robin Milley, due to musical differences. The group then played their lauch for 'Imagery' in february 1997. Following this, Neuraxis hooked up with Relapse Rec(USA), Owarai Rec(USA), Listenable Rec(France), Bone Brigade(France), Warfare Rec(Canada), Cryptic Soul(Italy), Estuary of Sins(Canada), Coven of death(USA), Corpse Gistle(USA), Still Dead(Poland), Morbid Record(Germany) & many more, for distribution. Neuraxis also began playing with bands such as Suffocation, Incantation, Dying Fetus, Obliveon, Fleshgrind & other local talents.
Each member brings to the group diverse influences raging fromn death, black, hardcore to classical, jazz & rock. The open mindedness of the band and directionnal attitude gives a new way of perceiving the extreme music.
In recent news, NEURAXIS have replaced Maynard Moore with new vocalist Chris Alsop-due to musical differences. Chris vocals fit perfectly with the group`s new material while still keeping it aggressive and extreme. NEURAXIS plan to enter the studio in late'98 to record their 2nd album, but in latest news the band have replaced another member to persue its task, the band parted ways with Mathieu(drums) and let him go do what he wanted to do, live and work in France. The band continued to rehearse, Yan switch to drums until the perfect drummer would be found. Months passed , and more than 17 new songs had been written since the recording of 'Imagery'. The band hired a session drummer to record 4 songs(Dreamrock, Blind The Vison That Shatters, Imagery and In Silence), 2 or 3 song will be on the split 7" with Defiled
from Japan, late June'99. Some songs will appear on compilations.
Plans for future shows/tours and new T-shirts are in the making.

My office moved to a better place with more space, now I'm living with my friend(and Roadie)
Rejean, he's now with the NEOBLAST Team!
Finally we finished recording the 4 new songs and we want to got again to record
other songs! Alex Erian is the perfect drummer for us, in one month he learned all
the songs we need to play for shows: WE ARE FINALY READY!!! Only 2 songs will
be on the split 7" with Defiled.
We don't have much Neuraxis "Imagery" CD left and we still look for a deal to repress
this album. I want to say a big FUCK YOU to Max and CRYPTIC NOIZE NETWORK for returning
our CDS back to Neoblast European office, it cost us 100$ to get them back! To continue
on the hate mode: FUCK YOU AND DIE MALVERY who never paid us for the Suffocation show, last year
(you still owe us money fuckers!)!.
CDN, Repulse USA, Morbid Records and Immortal Souls got our cds for distribution - Thank you
for your support!

It's been a while since the last update! Many things happens in the band,
Mathieu moved to France and works in landscaping, Maynard choose to quit because
he don't find himself in the band anymore(and found God!). New blood came into
the band to put the formation on a new level: Chris Alsop, our new vocalist!
We tried few drummers and played few shows to test them. Since Imagery, we have
21 new songs! We never quit and we will never because we have too much to deliver
as a band and as musicians! Yan, our bassplayer, played drums to keep us in
shape and to work on the new songs. We will officially enter the studio this
January 30th 1999 to record 3 songs for a split 7" with Defiled(was supposed to
be with Beheaded). Don't worry for the drums because we hired a session drummer
to make the job and he's fucking amazing! If we have enought chance with this
recording, we might get signed and record an album as soon as possible!
Neoblast is also going better and will make a compilation wich Neuraxis new
song will be on it! We are still here because we love the music, if it was for
the money...well, you won't see this update! We pass thru lot of shit and that delays all our plans like studio, tour and many stuff. We will see the
light soon...
