| Mars Global Surveyor Photographs Strange Surface Phenomenon |
These curious images were taken by the Mars Global Surveyor. What do the rib-like structures represent? It's anyone's guess! Possibly the fossilized remains of a mile-long worm. So, what does a mile-long worm eat? Anything it wants, I guess! You may view the original NASA image at the following link: (warning -- it's a 10 Mbyte file.) http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/ab1_m04/jpegmaps/M0300102.jpg
