Hi everyone! It is our pleasure to announce the release of Life Machine. it is our fifth project to date. Mortal Immunity is very proud of this new CD. We have changed direction, toward a much heavier, faster, and more aggressive sound. Now with the addition of Christian Breece on drums, all bets are off as to how hard and fast WE can rock.

The New CD

Life Machines release date of May 5th was held up due to the procrastination of a certain Bass player. He asked that his name not be mentioned due to repercussions from the other band members. OK OK it was me! Well the CD was released at CORNERSTONE 98 and we got a really good reaction from everyone. The place was rockin again this year with music of all types. If you haven't been to CORNERSTONE yet make plans for next year.

TIM HERNDON

Guitarist - Vocals

Tim has been playing guitar for approximately 12 years. His earliest influence was his father, who is an accomplished musician. His early teen years were heavily influenced with the playing of Ace Frehley. As he got older and his playing progressed, he drew his influences from guitarists like James Hetfield and Gary Lenaire while still incorporating the early influences in his music.

JIM McCAFFERTY

Bassist - Vocals

Jim has been abusing the bass for 16 years. There is not much to say: he grew up in a very loving family that because of his father's occupation moved 19 times in 12 years. His father was a digital electronics installer. His family came to the Toledo area when Jim was 13, and to his joy has grown deep roots in the area. His influences are, in no order: Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, Geddy Lee, Les Claypool, Victor Wooton and all other bassplayers.

DAN DAVIS

Lead Vocalist

Before becoming the lead singer, he helped the band as a roadie and as security. His influences are Gary Ritter, James Hetfield, and Dave Mustaine.

CHRIS BREECE

Drummer: - Vocals

Chris has been playing for over 9 years, the first three years in his school band. He received his first drum kit at the age of 13. When he reached the age of 17 he dedicated his life as well as his gift to God. That summer Chris met a guitarist and started a band that eventually led him to being the drummer of the band. After this band broke up Chris helped out M.I. as roadie / drum tech / sound engineer. Chris joined, or should we say lit a fire under, the band in Nov. 97. His influences are Lars Ulrich, Dave Lombardo, Jayson Sherlock, Thomas Huake, and Ted Kirkpatrick.

WHAT ?

Mortal Immunity has beliefs, opinions, and a common vision that is expressed in our music. We as individuals each have our own belief in God, just as each of you do. As a group we express these beliefs through music. We do feel that God has called us to minister, but through writing and playing music that reflects our walk with God through life. Our songs are about life, and life is full of happy and sad moments caused by many different things. Family, friends, and political events influence our daily decisions. MORTAL IMMUNITY feels that the main influence on our daily action should be God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Comment or questions, E-mail or write)

YES! YES! Uh, this band rocks! Picture Metallica doing Pantera covers with just a little less intensity and you get the picture.

Lyrically, this band has enough force to take you down in the first round. "They play on your fears, you can feel the tears. The vote is in, presidential sin, look to God to trust, all else will rust, in the end Christ will win." ("Death Salad Sandwich")

This is a serious band that's looking to make some waves. They've got the maturity, musical ability, and the guts to rock your world. Hang on for the ride.

The guys play quite a mix between slow and fast, but not so much in between. The young and not - so - old loved them. They really had the place rammin with or without coffee. They are an awesome band, plan to party and bring your friends. Best of all, they are doing it from the heart. The place to be was the SOUL Cafe' with Mortal Immunity.

Arron introduced me to your CHILDREN OF WAR album, and I think it is some of the awesomest Christian rock that I have ever heard.
