Hello fellow Ozzy fans. You might remember me if you've been to The AC/DC Hell Elevator Website at http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palace/2725/ . There is no huge story of how I got into Ozzy Osbourne. But I still have one...
In 9th grade... A friend of mine let me borrow the Ozzy Osbourne Live & Loud Concert Movie. Ever since then Ozzy Osbourne has been my second fave. music artist of all time. AC/DC is the first. Through out that video... I had never seen a singer that openly says that he loves all of his fans and that he would die for everyone one of them. At first.. I thought the movie was pretty good.. but when Ozzy said something like... "Don't listen to all these people that say if you listen to rock 'n' roll, you are listening to evil music that will force you to do evil ways... Hey, I would never do anything to hurt you guys. I care about everyone of you! I fuckin' love ya man!" I'm not sure if that's exactly what he said but it's pretty close. Anyways... the way he says he loves his fans... that just impressed me. Because most rock stars don't care. But Ozzy said once, "I owe everything to my fans... without them.. I wouldn't be eating everyday." Another thing I liked about Ozzy is... he will never disappoint his fans if he has anything to do with it. In that same concert movie, before a song he said... "I just came back from the doctor, and he said Ozzy, you've got the fuckin' flu.. there's no show for you tonight... And you know what I said? I said Fuck you!" And you could tell that Ozzy was sick... he could hardly stand but he still gave the fans what they wanted. That's courage for you. That's a heart of gold in my view....
I was very impressed with Ozzy's singing skills. He has a unique, one of a kind voice. He isn't the best but there is something in his voice that stands out. It just sounds cool and that also impressed me. But I really love the catch phrases he uses... like, "Let Me See Your Hands!" and "Go Crazy For Me!" and "Let Me See Your Cigarette Lighters!" and "God Bless You All!" and "Oh no.. Oh no..." and "Aye!"... there are countless more but I can't think of anymore.
When I narrow it down... Ozzy is a person that helps dreams come true. If someone wants an autograph, he's the type of person that will never be too busy to stop what he's doing to sign it. He is the type of person that isn't scared of what people say about him. And to the people that say bad things about him... he has recorded a few songs for them to help them make them understand what he is all about... a couple of those songs are... Road To Nowhere and You Can't Kill Rock 'N' Roll... But as some people say he's Satanic... No he isn't! As a matter of fact.. His father is a minister. And no matter where he is... on every Sunday, you will find him in a church. When he retired for a short time. He became a part time preacher. Not many people know that... but he did. Ozzy Osbourne is a dreamer... And through his music... He shares those dreams with his fans... And to anyone that isn't a fan... He offers those dreams to you as well...
