Week-Long Backstreet Boys Special On "THE EARLY SHOW"

CBS News THE EARLY SHOW gets close with the hit boy band, The Backstreet Boys, in a four-part series beginning Monday, Nov.20 (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT). Viewers get four doses of A.J., Brian, Kevin, Nick and Howie D., as they dazzle THE EARLY SHOW crowd with their hit songs and talk to entertainment correspondent Mark McEwen.

Monday (20), McEwen talks to all five members of the band about the release of their new album, Shape of My Heart. In addition, they discuss the success of the first album and how it has affected their lives. Band members Brian and Kevin candidly speak about their recent marriages. Nick speaks about what music means to him and how their songs have made an impact on peoples lives.

The Backstreet Boys new album hits record stores Tuesday (21), and they will perform their new single, Shape of My Heart, on THE EARLY SHOW Plaza at Fifth Avenue and 59th Street. Wednesday (22), The Backstreet Boys perform a special medley including Time, All I Have To Give and I Want It That Way.

Concluding the four-part series on Thursday (23), band member Howie D. talks about the charity his family developed in honor of his sister, who died of lupus. The Dorough Lupus Foundation raises money for lupus research and provides financial assistance for individuals living with the disease who cannot afford medical attention.
