CIMUN

The Cairo International Model United Nations (CIMUN) began ten years ago on a national level only with the simulation of one council; the Security Council. Over the years, it has expanded to become the largest student-run activity on campus. In 1993, CIMUN was held in conjuction with the United Nations association of the USA, in which the largest number of foreign delegates (over 100) participated. In 1997, the largest CIMUN ever was held on campus, with over 450 participating students from AUC and other Egyptian and international universities. CIMUN is now recognized as the largest inter-collgiate MUN program outside of North America.
