september 25,1999 it's saturday once again, i have survived through 5 weeks of college. thats a very good thing. i slept till 2 today:) i went out with mandy and simone and a bunch of people last night to a party, it was fun i guess. everybody kept trying to get me to dance to this rap stuff but i couldn't do it. i danced when i liked the music, but thats the only time. mandys friends said i'm a female version of their friend joe, cause i like ska, pez, i don't drink, and i guess he even has a ska band. anyways, it was interesting. i have shin splints, still, and they hurt. running isn't fun. crew is fun tho. i like it alot. and with our frist race in exactly 3 weeks, it's getting exciting. and we should be able to win the first race, so that will be very cool!~
september 11,1999 it's saturday. today was the purdue vs. notre dame game. we won:) i didn't have tickets but that was ok. i slept most of the day(i was really tired and i still am)then i saw my friend simone walking outside my window and she said she was going down to the stadium to see if she could get in so i decided to go with and the game was almost over so we got to be there for the most exciting part. it was pretty crazy. all those notre dame people must be feeling pretty dumb:) but now i'm back in my room getting ready to go back to sleep and it's only like 7:30. i think i'm getting sick so i just need rest and that kind of stuff:) yeah. last night was pretty cool i went out with tara, george, russel, and mike and we went to this greek place and it was great. george is greek and he was talking to the people in the restaurant in greek and it was so funny. and then we went to this cd store and stayed in there about an hour or so. george gets stuck in cd stores. i got a cd. that store is so cool. anyways.... i need to start eating healthy cause crew is wearing me out really bad. and thats a very bad thing.~
september 2,1999 today is thursday i get to go home tomorrow. i can't wait! i feel like i haven't seen any of my friends in FOREVER, but it's only really been like 3 weeks. i'm exhousted too. crew is gonna be great tho. we got to row in the water yesterday. it was great! i'm just waiting for class to start i still have about 5 minutes. when i get home this weekend hopefully i'll be able to scan some new pictures and get them up. ~
august 27,1999 i am done with my first week of classes... and i'm still alive. pretty cool huh? i'm exhousted tho. this whole weekend is gonna be either sleep or the mall:) the theater here is like $1.50 or $3.00 so i think that we are gonna get a bunch of people together to go to the mall and see a movie. it should be fun. i bet we will almost fill up a bus:) the mall here is pretty nice. i think so at least. oh and i got a roommate on sunday. she's really nice and we totaly get along. she's from about an hour and a half south of here so she has a little accent. but thats ok. and she doesn't smoke or anything like that either so thats another relief. i have all my pez dispensers set up in my room now half of em are in the window(they wouldn't all fit there tho) and the other half is above the dresser. people think it's pretty neat:) i'm so proud. i just hope that haivng some of em in the window doesn't fade the colors oh well. i am really happy with all my classes. i think i am really luky with getting good classes. i have decided that i like my speech class. my teacher is so funny. well i think i have to stop now... theres a line for the computers.~
august 19,1999 i have had so much fun this week i moved down here sunday(the 15th). it has been so fun. i made some awesome friends. i still havent met my roommate. i think she might arrive today. i'm a little worried about what she will be like but she will probably be awesome. this place is great. it's pretty and there are cool fountains to run thru. fountain runs are so fun. my room hasn't gotten that hot really. i'm glad for that. my mom is supposed to come down today and bring me some stuff. well time for lunch.~
august 9,1999 my teeth hurt. they hurt alot actually. i got the wires put on my braces thursday... it wasn't fun at all. but in the end the pain is worth it. i had a weird dream last night. i remembered all of it too. not like freaky weird but it was different. i am kinda sore right now too from going swing dancing thursday night it was alot of fun we didn't get home till 2:30am! i slept almost all day friday. it was strange. i have alot to do this week. my friend paul is coming to visit for a week. he's getting here on monday. i am going to pick him up from ohare. but his plane gets in at 9:30. so that means pretty much that i get to spend all day in chicago hanging out with adrienne and erin, cause erin gets home from idaho monday too. just one more week living here. i'm so excited to be moving down to lafayette. college is gonna be so much fun. and plus my only worry about college at all is what my roommate will be like. i must stop now. i have to straighten up the house. mom gets home from vegas today... not that the house is messy or anything:) ~
august 1,1999 first off i have to give the credit forthe idea of this nifty little section to my friend meghan. i kinda stole the idea from her. but hey it was a good idea! anyways, i think i have finished adding pictures FINALLY to the photo album, at least for now. i will have to count again, but before i added more today the totaly number of pictures in the photo album was 331!!! i'm so proud of myself, but i am running out of space! whatever will i do? if anyone has any suggestions email me. that is it for now... i think. ~
july 30,1999 wow my life right now is probabaly as great as it's gonna get... well maybe. it's as good as it can get for somebody my age. i just got back from vacation in Idaho a few days ago. it was so much fun. it is so beautiful out there. i think that i would like to live there. and the fact that i have alot of friends there doesn't hurt either. i'm still moving back in to my house, which i can't do too much because in a little over 2 weeks i'm just moving to college. that will be a blast. i hope my roommate is cool. thats about my only about college is what my roommate will be like. i'm sure that she will be awesome tho. actually the whole last month right now feels like a big dream. it's a good thing i got lots of pictures. pictures are a good thing. but i haven't scanned any in so long that it's gonna take me forever to get totaly caught up. well it's late so i will let this do for now. ~
