This page is dedicated to the late Linda McCartney who was Paul's soul mate and wife for nearly 30 years (the longest marriage in rock history)

Born in Liverpoool, England on June 18, 1942. The story really begins on June 6, 1956, when Ivan Vaughan introduces a nearly 14 year old Paul to the late great John Lennon, at the Wooten Parish Church festival in Liverpool. He joins John's band and soon the greatest songwriting duo gets their start.
