Biography
Blink-182 is a three piece perverted punk band from San
Diego, California. Mark Hoppus (27, bass, vocals) plays bass and sings
most of the songs while Tom DeLonge (24, guitar, vocals) plays guitar
and sings when Mark isn't. Travis Barker is
the drummer and took the place of former drummer Scott Raynor who is now
in the band The Axidentals. Blink-182 formed awhile ago in 1994 and has
put out numerous 7" along with four full length CD's "Buddah," "Chesire
Cat," "Dude Ranch" and most recentley "Enema of the State". Blink-182 has gained much attention
in the Warped Tour and tours heavily all over the U.S.,
Canada, and Australia. Blink-182 writes songs that relate to kids
and problems that they may face. They aren't your typical three piece
punk band that writes about politics. This sounds all too mature for Blink-182...
Blink-182
is very perverted and is very much into toilet humor. They enjoy
saying perverted little sayings like "This reminds me of that
one time we went to that water slide and that 60 year old man came down
and he was going so fast his pants fell off and I stood there and stared
at his big, beautiful, hairy balls, oh geez I wanted to lick em".
But such mature lyrics as "Well I guess this is growing up"
and "Don't let your future be destroyed by my past" . All in
all Blink-182 is a GREAT band and I highly recommend you pick up
one of their albums. Be sure to check out the multimedia
section for audio samples of almost all of their songs!
