Eighth graders Jason and Jared were so impressed with the survival skills of the lead character in the book, "HATCHET", they decided to see if they could fend for themselves if left alone with only natural resources. They built this shelter without the use of modern tools or materials. They anticipate camping out as soon as the weather turns a little warmer.
