Dredd's Rant

Everyone seeks enlightenment. Mostly. I learn through school, philosophy, my thoughts, and my experiences. It hurts me. I hurt me. I'm happy I have someones arms to hide in now, even if she can't see over my shoulder. The LAST place I am going to seek enlightenment is a modern Christian church. Two main reasons. One: you are supposed to witness (preach) to everyone. And you are supposed to openly proclaim your Christianity to everyone, I guess including strangers. I'd rather not be known. The second reason: Bullshit and propaganda. Mainly about "Satanic" music, in my opinion. (Think of Slipknot, KoRn, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, etc.) In my friends church, the next time we go, we are supposed to bring things that we think "keep us from God". I had to restrain myself from yelling at the guy. Actually, I might be a little bit hypocritical. This can be considered preaching. And this sure as Hell isn't keeping my existence a secret. Oh, well. Fuck it.

I'm not much for restraint. (Mainly why I dislike public places and authority.) I have my own religion. I mix the indulgence, enlightenment through experience and experimentation, and plain freedom of Satanism w/ the belief in the fact that God put me here. I do think that Jesus was the most interesting person who ever existed. Who else has done so much and made such a great impact in only 32 years? I have a curiosity in the Stigmata, too. (Great movie, by the way. I must watch it w/ Amy sometime.)

I am against no religion or lifestyle. Whatever your religion, fine w/ me. Just don't preach to or try to recruit me. In the unlikely situation that my best friend turned gay, I wouldn't care. As long as he didn't come after me. I consider myself a pretty open person. Some of my opinions are close minded, I know. Oh, well. To live is to learn. Just don't ever judge me.
